Generally hp has risen year by year on farms to the point where 200hp tractors are rolling and chain harrowing. Goes to prove maybe lesser powered tractors should be revisited...
Yep so many youngsters with Fendt 724 running around doing jobs that half the power would. All image and daddy paying their depreciation and running costs must be eye watering!
my uncle worked the land for many a year, he was a john deer man through and through for many a year, but past what 5+ years maybe more he gone to new holland says much more sturdy a tractor.
Good video and what a demo you have done with this tractor using it on different jobs on the farm. You simply can't get real world knowledge about a tractor unless someone like yourself George puts it through everyday jobs. I wonder at times does the designers ever use their products as with some tractors they make things that doesn't suit a person who has to spend hours in the cab. This has a lot of stuff to hand and cab visability seems just perfect. Seamless gear changes is great for wheel grip. Fantastic review George..
1988-1990 i used a flatlift like that in heavy clay with either a ford 7610 4wd on duals or a ford 7810 with duals. You don't always need a big hp tractor to do the job
Good evening George, Nice little video now I know a bit more about The New Hollander I like the look 👀 of it and it looks as it do what it is Suppose to do well done George,🚜🚜👍⭐️⭐️
Yourself and Mucker give this tractor a very good review. Small but doing all the work of its big brothers. Would it get in those small sheds on the farm ??
Friend of mine had a T5, full of praise for it. Only thing it didn't like was driving a small square baler, that has an uneven drive. T5 seemed to have a lot of PTO gear backlash and made some nasty sounds while baling. Other than that he loved it.
Hello George she looks to be purring along we pull a 7 leg flat lift on our cat challenger MT845C it’s abit hard for it this year cracking video keep up the good work 👍👍
New version or take on the old classic 7810s it's ticking all the boxes the 7810 did back in the day. Nice do it all tractor to work and have on any business. There's always going to be limits when we push for a little bit more. Great review job . 👏 stay safe 🏴
I'm of the age that all of those pre-work settings were done by hand the hard way. Height, 4x4 etc. Only concern with new machines is should things go wrong - they'd be laborious to fix.
Some very good and thought provoking videos on the NH T5 140. George, you mentioned you would probably buy a T5 for the the feeder wagon, personally I think 150 hp is a bit excessive on a feeder wagon. Have you considered having Loader Brackets fitted to the T5 and swapping just the loader from the T4 if possible, then you'd have a choice of Tractors for loader work and use the T4 on the feeder Wagon ?
We need two nimble tractors for the winter. The T4 lives on the straw chopper and has to negotiate some tight yards. The other tractor sits on the feeder wagon during the winter, this tractor also has to do a lot of other jobs. The T5 would be nimble enough on the feeder wagon but also more capable whilst it does other jobs
Just think where agriculture has come. A hundred years ago the two bottom tractors were the big tractors of the time, unless you were looking at the steam engines that were set up for pulling plows and threshing work. The horse or mule team was still King of the farm.
Hallo george Nice Film from harvest New Holland tractor with frontloader. The New technic go Better than youngtimer but eyery machine with a lot of horspower make the same work tweetfrom darkness Germany Eberswalde by Berlin
Hey George, How about you contact JCB company and ask to try out their new Hydrogen Powered Tractors? The gears the engine set up is the same as the normal Diesel ones But the tractors and telehandler's use Hydrogen instead and that means the engine and gears workers can still be working as the Diesel is banned soon! I am sure you would like to try something new from JCB so try asking to try it out for a week. Cheers. 🚜 😉
You dont need as much power as people tell you now days. As you say you can be suppries by the power of 4 cyl pocket rockets like that. As the same i run a t6.145 on a fusion 3+ and ibe been supprised.

I pulled the same make flatlift on a 1990 Massey Ferguson 3070 4 cylinder turbo on real hard land, it made her bark but she did it 💪👍
Great stuff Liz and George, a gutsy tractor that for a 4 cylinder👌👍😎
Good video George and easy to see why you and Mucker liked it so much 👍

You're a great salesman for New Holland, I hope they respond in kind!
I've been using a 3 leg flat lift on a Renault Ares 630 on fairly steep ground, that's 30hp less again
Nice one George, great set of jobs on the T5 . The review on it are comprehensive. Keep the good work up 🚜👍🔧

Excellent video. How does fuel consumtion compare?
Think that answers my question on the clutch George. It is needed.
Great video George doing a nice job on the flatlift 👍👍👍👍
She’s handling it well George, 👍
Great video we have 120 dynamic command fantastic tractor just ordered another to replace a 120 electro command but we have the t6 cabs on
Well George, you certainly gave it some work to do there!!

I had similar problems on my T5 with the PTO "Chattering" seems you have you keep the PTO speed selector well adjusted.
Thanks for the vid George... Take care sir...
You'll be sorry to see her go back George great video as always
Hello George she looks to be purring along we pull a 7 leg flat lift on our cat challenger MT845C it’s abit hard for it this year cracking video keep up the good work 👍👍
Thanks George great video. Pulls like a warrior just gets it done ✅😂😂😂
Are you getting the deutz 6125 you were looking at on the open day on demo? Or had T5 just blown it away
Nice One George Thanks again
Thanks for your content George. Just a fan of alternative yellow paint.👌

Nice little tractor
Hmm, don't know why but I get the feeling you like the T5 George, not that you've said you do. 😄
Does the T5 not boost to 140hp? Or is it a flat 140 regardless? We used to pull a cousins V-form 3 leg with a tm140 with no weights at all
140 constant
That tractor must make a few people sit up and think to themselves do I really need 180 to 200 hp🤔 great video 👍
Another excellent review - great tractor!!
Certainly an impressive performance from the T5 and an excellent review and video there George. What else is on the shortlist?
It's very well capable, but how about wet ground, it has the power, but the grip is just about enough :) But a T5 would never be a bad choice :)

Made that job Look Easy,
George you should see how it copes with your hedge cutting on the back
might even pull the flatlift better after a normal summer with the ground not as dry as this year ...............
Fantastic video george not a nh man but that’s impressive little tractor.
You fancy trying the new Q from valtra. Or the n175 200hp 4cyl.
good effort from a smaller machine. If you needed to do realy slow work, i'd be thinking you would be going for a CVT this day and age.
Bel video. Bravo. Bei mezzi.
👍👍👋👋💪💪🚜🇮🇹🔥❤️🔝
re bonjour George encore une très belle vidéo 😍👍👍👍
Good vid george
Pulls like a train George puts these high horse power tractors to shame

What a honey...Great little tractor 👍
How deep were you going with flatlift?
Thanks for the speed test re Hedging George
My boss worked out in his head ,tonnes versus horsepowere or what we have in thbe ground, good vid

Farmer P had 1 on demo and said it might lift a 3 furrow reverseable plough 🤣
Think he got that a bit wrong!
New Holland seem to be getting it Right again.
I would keep the t5 she's a rite tractor

when the new 1 coming George
She pulls well! Why not put the t4 on feeder wagon, and have t5 as all rounder? Swiss army knife of tractors.
T5 looks like the perfect small tractor for every day operations Yes limitations on high horse power jobs but pulls her weight
Surely more than its weight! 🤔🤪
WOULF MAKE A GOOD BIG TRACTOR FOR SMALL FARMS
What will the bucket hold
All of it.
We pull a similar flat lift with our Massey 2640, that old girl just sit there and lugs
It loookks nice 2
