It's all good. It'd be nice if it was cheaper, but it'd be nice if my kids listened and the dog picked up his own droppings. Just can't change some things, I suppose.
I saw your comment on swdweeb and clicked on your name. More casting videos :) I wonder if your metal needs to be hotter in order to fill the cavities. I think the thin stem is an issue. And I wondered if a scratch vent might help. But because the issue happens on the last mold I still think it is mainly a temperature issue. (for the mold/gate as is)
Not so fast Heinrichs Made🤣. From viewing point the left mould didn’t seem to want to cooperate. Guess putting vents would be difficult with the small molds? Keep up the great work.

I wondered if that was the case. I was trying not to burn off the zinc, but it seems I was too cautious.

@@HeinrichsMade they were there in all 6 molds. Not sure why those 2 failed.
@@KrakenCasting yeah it was weird, it was the first of the 3. Maybe the Sprue was too small or the vents weren't deep enough. 🤷♂️
