2:14 that noise came from a part of a noise from a game called “Sonic CD” played on the sega cd.
There was this combination codes that had music and had titles. One of them was “fun is forever” which became a meme but the music is still scary. The background is weird just Sonics with a weird human face but no ears and on the front of the screen was Japanese handwriting saying “Fun is forever, SEGA” the music just creeps me out.

The scariest sounds in video games that I have experienced are the ghostly disembodied laughter of children in the crypts of Chapter 1 and the Jahreg castle of Chapter 2 of the game Neverwinter Nights.

Minecraft is just creepy in general because of all of the myths .
The music is creppy also,though on the bright side it’s a sweet building game well man I am a pretty good builder.
Building and crafting and mining is just the main part of the game the sides are myths,creepiness,and creepy pasta.
It’s a fun game but I feel like that even when I am home or doing something in Minecraft I feel like someone or something is watching me.
Imagine how creepy that feeling would be and sound would be around 3 am.
Fun fact about caves: the dev just want you to make you scared or just added it for fun, Also Creepypasta's arent real, but some of them are almost real. Like the original one. Herobrine.
The scariest thing I've ever heard in a video game is in this game that I don't remember the name of, but it's like. It's like a feeding simulator, the sound was deleted though, but every time a customer didn't get what it wants, it made a weird, angry noise, and every time it gets scarier, scarier until it possesses you and jump scares the heck out of me, and it does the fake knocking sound and the fake breaking glass, it was deleted.

I definitely remember being spooked by the Sonic drowning countdown, for sure! I dreaded stages with water in them because of it for a long while after first exposure. Some other memorable ones for me:
-Kimatoma Caverns BGM in MegaMan Legends 2
-Crocomire's howls in the acid in Super Metroid
-Active E.M.M.I. zone

The cave sounds are caused by a part of the game called Mood. It goes up and when it reaches 100 you hear a cave sound. It decrases when you are around a light source

So preventing to hear the cave sound go to the setting and click the audio nd see the ambient/environment means you hear every types of cave sound then you go to 0% and thats it

Also if you do look at the spectogram of Lavender Town, you won't find this, like ever.
The ghost hand and the screaming corpse were prototypes for cubones mother.
This one isn't as known but Chozo Ghosts sounds from Metroid Prime are very creepy, for context when you are in an area somewhere else music plays normally, the closer you get to a Chozo Ghost room the sounds will be played louder and louder and the music will be silent to a point you can only hear their screams,
