Amazing. A gift from God.
Amira was 13 years old at this performance. Now she is 19 years old. The fact that it looks like she doesn't even have to strain on the highest notes is almost a trademark of hers. She has a beautiful voice. But what is even more striking is her presence on stage, which is extraordinary.
The skirl of the pipes,Amira's traditional Scottish dress and hair style,backed by choir and orchestra,makes this beautifully rounded off performance topped by Amira's spectacular voice.Reguards from,Michael Jonathan Lewis,Johannesburg, South Africa.
Amira is very sweet. There are videos of her workin with her charity foundation. Just 13 here, singing Amazing Grace., she's 19 now. Other beautiful songs by her are :- Ave Maria Gomez, sung at a Christmas concert in the Dutch Canisius Church in 2015. Live in concert- Nella Fantasia. Gabriella's Song. Sound of Music. - the last three are backed by large orchestras, choirs etc. Gesu Bambino is from early this year, and is just her singing in a church, but so sweetly, it's beautiful.

You’re way out on her age Sue. Amira is 19 now, so this performance was when she was just 13 years of age. I personally can’t wait to hear Amira with a fully matured voice, probably in her mid twenties. When you consider this particular performance is perfection, no wonder I’m anxious to hear her in ,say, another 6-7 years.
Also, O Mio Babbino Caro is “ O my dear Papa” . Your confusing Babbino with Bambino.
Anyway, great reaction guys. I’m sure you know Sound of Music, so I suggest you react to Amira’s medley of this famous film. She sings one octave higher than Julie Andrews and absolutely nails it.

Now you’ve heard Amira, we have another stunning performance by a 15-year old Dutch girl! She is called Emma Kok and she sings the french song ‘Voila’ accompagnied by André Rieu’s 70 musicians strong Johann Strauss Orchestra in front of an audience of 12.500! Angelic, heartmelting and unbelievebly professional! She brought the people to tears .
I love the genre mix you have been on. Variety is great, not all is my cup of tea but I can listen and it grows on me. Another rising star in this genre is Jackie Evancho.
