the color of engine oil shouldn't determine when you should get an oil change, it could be a certain color and it's perfectly fine. you should check the type of oil container to see when you should replace it. also , cars are different, so it be easy to drain or you may have to remove certain things in the engine bay, so check the manufacturer book.
