Had mine since 2016, now 15,892 km on Odo. Fuel consump is 3.54 l per 100!!! Real world riding, i commute 35km between 2 Towns weekly, with the bulk at 90km/hr. I bought it as I'm on walking stick and cannot get leg over a motorbike. It has proven to be utterly reliable in those 5 years only requiring annual servicing / One set of tyres & a drive belt replacement done this year 2021. All in all a brillant bit of kit that just works. I would reccomend the 155 if you commute on a highway, better top end speed and fuel efficiency is better.
@@93fitzer You will have to spend North of $10,000 (NZ) to get the model that is self supporting. Tricity 300cc !! But be warned they are a Heavy Beast of a Scooter due to twin wheel setup in front.
Thanks for your excellent video. I just got the 125 (2015 tricity). You're right about everything you say in your video. I needed a 125 motorbike which is a little safer. I don't know any other bike & this is my first owned vehicle so it's already awesome enough for me :)
Thanks for a great video. Im in Ireland where it is very wet so the third wheel is for me. The Tricity 300 is a little wide for filtering so Im going to get this 125. New with heated grips and ABS it will be around €5500 over here.
I love mine, i live near the alps so i have to climb rather steep hills with it. It's not fast, but it's hardly ever annoyingly slow. I like, how i don't immediately die, when i drive over gravel or a tree branch in the middle of a blind corner. That's a real advantage. It's also great on wet ground and the brakes are almost dangerously good (look in the mirror, before trying that). For some reason, on mine, the front tires will have to be replaced soon. I didn`t corner that hard, because the central stand grinds on the asphalt if i lean too much, and it's only been about 8000 km. That's a disadvantage. The limited leaning angle is too, but it also does have a lower center of gravity, and since the outward wheel carries more of the weight, it doesn't need to lean as much for the same corner speed. Kinda like a car doesn't need to lean into a corner. That doesn't completely compensate the higher weight, but the adittional rubber does, mostly
@@BondJFK Dude, you asked a very basic question at the beginning and one answer later, you suddenly became expert enough to say that this is the most stupid design ever? How does that work? You're either a time traveller or not very smart, extremely not very smart.
Hello, I don't really think so, because this three-wheeler acts just like a regular bike. So it feels like sitting on a motorcycle/scooter. There are also the other three-wheelers around which might be more interesting to you? ua-cam.com/video/DaPfmCq02tI/v-deo.html
That giant screen must be slowing you down a lot, and it looks very ugly. Much better would be a smaller screen with a deflector which you can buy quite cheaply. The good ones are just as effective as a huge screen and I think your acceleration and top speed would be a lot faster. That screen is creating enormous drag.

Hey Looking at these for my mum, is the idea of the three wheels improved stability? Does it stand up on the wheels alone without the centre stand?

I am glad you are happy with your TriCity. I am hoping to get the TriCity 300 maybe next year. Take care and thanks for watching!
Is it still reliable ? New models are over 4700 euros here. Used 2016 models with less than 15000 kms are around 2500 euros.
Where are you located? I am in Texas and can't find this scooter anywhere
@@christinefilas9392 can buy this in my land :) 😀 Sweden
Really love that tricity. Hope to have that one this year. Still saving to have my own service

Hello, yes, the price is not too bad. Where are you at? Dublin? I used to live in Dublin and Galway :)
@@BenalRida Yep Dublin. Slightly drier than Galway but Id rather be in Andalucia :)
why in Serbia it costs around 9k brand new? Probably cuz u can drive it with car driving license.

When it is available in kerala,India
you can connect it with the app if you chose tricity 125(2022)

What's the top speed
Not sure, I think around 100-110 kph.
Is it automatic
Yes, it has variomatic.
Is proper balancing required for this like 2 wheeled bike??Or its like trike--
Hello, yes, it will not self-balance nor it will stand on its own. You need to balance it like a normal 2-wheeled bike.
@@BondJFK It is supposed to give you better grip on the road in corners and on uneven pavement. Also safer in the rain.
I have ridden all kind of bikes and two wheels up front in the wet offers grip and braking that’s hard to believe. In the dry not much difference.
