I love everything about this makeover! I would only make one change...I'd put the tree you made in that empty space in front of the window. Then you could move the bed 3 inches to the right so the whole bed could be on the slatted wall. Other than that, chef's kiss! 🫶
I did consider that, but my concern was blocking light and having faux greenery competing with all of the real trees in the background. Thanks so much for joining me here! 😊💕

I too , went from my grey white room back to my earthly green . I used to have green , but wanted to try the grey/white . But it never seem to fit me and I have never finished decorating because I just wasn’t feeling it.
But now I have my green , and wood tones and a pop of tans /and a touch of deep rust/red orange tones . I love it!

No one can say you are afraid of work 😉 When we built our house I sanded, varnished and stained all of our window trim, baseboards and door frames. Also filled the wallboards, sanded and painted the bedrooms. Papered the hallway and dressing area by our two closet’s. That was before you were born, 1974-76.❤❤❤

Tip I learnt from my parents regarding hanging picture with hooks or holes in the back. Run masking tape along the back and put holes in the sections where the nails are going to hold it. Then remove from back of picture and place on wall, nail in the holes through the tape (remove tape) that way the nails will line up with the back of picture then hang the picture up and enjoy.

I was taught that when using a rolling to paint a wall, one should make zigzag patters, rather than rolling columns of paint. The columns can be visible when dry. Your room looks fantastic!!

I was wondering what you were up to because you haven't had a new video in a while and now I know! You did an awesome job on the bedroom with your thrifted finds. Appreciate that you gave the furniture a "wash" rather than painting it so the wood grain shows through. Great finds on those lamps and I recognize some of your Goodwill bin finds that you upcycled. The tree turned out gorgeous too! But my favorite thing in the whole room? That beat up, weathered bench! What an authentic antique! Love those square pegs used in its construction!

Nice job! Everything is beautiful. Fabric softener is the secret with taking off wallpaper. Put some in a spray bottle with hot water. Probably 4 parts water 1 parts softener. Spray a wait about 10 mins then scrape/pull off. You need a long folding conference table to put your projects on, so you don’t have to squat. Terrible on the knees etc. Oh and you’ll need to go back and put some buffer between the bed frame and the slats to keep the creaking noises away. I used floor protectors and hot glue. It worked wonders.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! Green has been a hot color lately. Definitely high end but with a soothing vibe. I flip houses and would love to know what colors you used on the walls! Love how the bench brings in the extra warmth and balances the room tones!!!! I love to incorporate some older pieces to keep the rooms from looking cold and sterile.
