Yo Gary, excellent video, I love Winter trapping season. I see myself thru you in my younger years and healthy. Good catch on the wolf. There was a lot of tracks on that trail. Wishing you lots of luck this season
Much appreciated Ed. This was footage from last season we had not edited, we have a few more to put together, should be just in time for the fur to prime this trapping season, have a good one my friend, stay safe on the water 👍
happy to see a new video, great catches hope you and your family stay healthy, when I was a youngster we would fish in the wind river mountains in wyoming and my uncle called those jays, camp robber jays haven't heard that name in years brings back great memories thanks
Hi Justin, Thanks for watching. This is footage from last winter i didnt have time to edit. A few more before the trapping starts for this season. God Bless and thanks for watching
I’m always interested in were you are ?? I live in Minnesota and I thought we had cold weather but you said 50 below I thought we had cold weather but not like you have. Cold 🥶 🥶
So there is a plug in engine block/oil heater i had installed when i bought the ride. Works down to -60, just plug it in for half an hour before you need it running and give it a good amount of time warming up with a blanket and canvas tarp on top. Oh yeah when its that cold its best not to turn the ride off for more than 20 minutes. Thanks for watching, any other questions just let me know 👍
This was filmed back in the beginning of this last February, the fur is not yet prime this season but well be trapping by thanksgiving. Thanks for watching
@@enigmaticgwichin1630 👍🏼👍🏼 I thought I saw that it was last years somewhere. Thanks, just 2 or 3 week away! I hope this year is the best you ever have had!
@@huntingandstuff9489 lol. With all my layers on i can easily sweat out there. Thanks for watching my friend. We started editing a few more videos today. God Bless
Its a DPMS i got about 8 years ago, i had ice in the action once about 5 years ago that jammed it up and had to slap the forward assist a few times, other than that as long as i run the BCG dry it runs down to -70 no problem, also leave a few rounds out of the mag so the spring is not putting alot of pressure up into the gun which can cause it to gum up as well. Ive tried out all kinda of rounds but the brass case 55 grain fmj. Work great on wolves. Ill carry another mag with barnes vortex hunting rounds in case we bump into caribou
@@enigmaticgwichin1630 that’s kinda funny was talking to a guy that goes to Alaska to hunt every year. And was told not to carry anything smaller than a 338 win mag. Even for caribou and I told him that seemed like a little much to hunt caribou but than again didn’t know cause I’ve only been able to hunt whitetail.
No need to be sorry, we appreciate your feedback? Too much as in the selection? Or the volume, or just don't like it overall? We are trying to drop these videos as fast as we can before the new season. Didnt really have the time to make it better. 😊 on the next one i am working on the volume so it won't be so loud. 😅
I love your giving thanks to the Lord
