I remember playing video games as a kid and picking Glen Rice because he barely missed lol. He’s one of my favorite players. He was definitely a pure shooter and tough to defend. #Legend 🏀🐐
Extremely underrated player to use on NBA Street. Even though he was past his prime at that point, his ratings made him an excellent all-around player.
I always rooted for Rice and the Hornets))) I was very happy when he took the championship with the Lakers. The most interesting feature of Rice is his amplitude, soft execution of three-point shots with a fairly high growth)) He soared up, stuck out and it was simply impossible to get him)) Along with this, I really liked Muggsy Boguess. In general, thanks guys, you gave me a happy childhood. I always dreamed of getting an autograph from the Hornets players, Rice in particular)) And it's amazing what a talented son was born to Della Curry, who took three points and records to Space)))
This guy was so good...the prime example of being "an All-Time Great All-Star player" n 'keep it simple at the same time... All about basic fundamentals n being deadly with it... A Great great player here...
It’s hard to find his highlights smh nba needs do better he’s a legend Glen Rice could score and had great jump shot and one underrated three point shooter
2 time Class A state champion in Michigan. Mr. Michigan 1985 Big 10 all time leading scorer when he left NCAA champion. NCAA Final Four MOP. NCAA Tournament record scorer in 1989. NBA All Star Game MVP. NBA CHAMPION 🏆. This guy should be in the HOF before a Tracy McGrady, Pau Gasol or Tim Hardaway.
That Hornets team with Divac, Rice, and Mason… Cowan coaching. They had the best passing frontcourt in the league, the best overall when locked in… and just look at the competition
As a Bulls fan, I was worried about the Hornets in the 98 playoffs because Rice was one of the most unstoppable offensive weapons at the time. Luckily, the Hornets were pretty much a two man show and simply weren't deep enough to keep up with the Bulls.
My high school team played Rice and Flint Northwestern in ‘84. That team also had Jeff Grayer, Andre Rison, and 2 other guys that played D-1. Needless to say, we got crushed. 😂
in ALL honesty i did do + or probably will SOMEWHAT like rice but why did the 94 heat lose 3-2 to the hawks while the 97 hornets lost 3-0 to the knicks
Guy averaged 26.8 ppg in 1996, one of the greats, don’t hear his name enough! Underrated!
most def. if he was having a good night.. it was a long and horrible night for the opposition
I agree in full..
@@Crypta-Knight -T00-True!!
Glen Rice was a better player than Carmelo Anthony

Favorite player growing up. Dude had such an amazingly smooth shot.

Him and Mitch Richmond are sadly forgotten but both were ballers in their day

As a kid I thought that court was so sick lol the basketball free throw and reverse paint was dope to a 6 year old

His 1985 Michigan high school team that won the state title had 3 pro first round picks.
Glen Rice-NBA
Jeff Grayer-NBA

Imagine if they kept LJ and rice together bulls would’ve been dethroned

Wow had no idea Andre Rison played high school ball with Rice. One went to Michigan, the other Michigan State.
Rison was a stud.
The curry of my childhood
He would average 27 these days...👌🏾
Kansas, 6'8 Fr SF Gradey Dick being compared to Rice atm..

This Hornets team was really good too bad they didn’t keep it together Blade sign with Sacramento after the lockout Rice got traded
They should’ve kept Kobe
in ALL honesty i did do + or probably will SOMEWHAT like rice but why did the 94 heat lose 3-2 to the hawks while the 97 hornets lost 3-0 to the knicks
One 6-10 huh what
Am I the only one who realized that when Glen played for the Lakers, he should have been the second option. Kobe wasn't as good as Glen at that time.
Glen Rice was out there killing scottie pippen
Matt Barns same weight and height, even had same simular shooting motion.
Matt can shoot, but never worked on his game..smh
