The fkn passion when he raises the sword....damn I'm high and got goosebumps
Hard to believe this is 1995 still ahead of its time and still a classic
Imagine the feeling of winning that battle
That part when william wallace and scottish army won the battle of stirling is my favor scene in braveheart
I would relish nothing more than to face all my enemies and people that doubted me and loathed every fibre of my living being to one day face them, against all odds coming out on top and I would let out a couple of raspering roars as Wallace did in this scene and just linger in my own realm of joy.
Your very great hapiness in this world is your love for your loved people.
Think in the good things that you can be in this live to people or animals, and you be free.
Movies are movies, don't live for your "enemies", live for you and do good things.
Who cares about the historical inaccuracies in this movie. This scene is real. These men did what was said to be the impossible.
And yes, an infantry force did defeat a predominantly cavalry force for the first time in a while. The consequences of this battle would shape European warfare for centuries thereafter.
Amen
Always in my heart Scotland!❤
Still gets me in the feels.
Amen, a certified hood classic
Don't ever use "feels" ever again!!! When commenting this Movie.
Feel, if you have a pair 👀
the dad recovered really fast after getting his hand cut off.he's celebrating less than 2 minutes later.
As long as he remembered not to clap his hands during celebration, he was doing fine!
@@dfoiusfe2223 🤣🤣👍👍
My favorite guy in the movie
He was too packed with adrenaline to mourne about his lost hand at that point.
Yeah he might regret it at night.
William Wallace: (screams in triumph)
Scots: WALLACE!!
Best scene of the movie
One of the most brutal and gory battle scenes in movie history, but they had to bleep out the curse word. LOL
People getting slaughtered, maimed and hacked but Binge beeps out the word Bastard.........lol
yeah lol pathetic
Yank logic
And arse! Is arse even a naughty word?
Free Scotland !
Without the fucking bridge!
The Scots had just enough blue paint to adorn Mel Gibson with, the rest had to do without.
How I managed to watch this epic battle a little kid is astonishing
Ah yes, the battle of Stirling Bridge that took place in an open field.
With the Scots wearing kilts!
And face paint!
@@Adam-pu6jg indeed. A few centuries early for the Kilts, a few centuries late for the face paint. Hey, if you split the difference it's right on the money 😆
With no Bridge…..
@@richieclean So they are making the bridge over the time gap, and ... there you have it: the bridge!
@@richieclean 🤣👍
totally innacurate about history but a legendary movie.
Inaccurate really we’re u around about those times 🤔
@@garylyall811 Gary. Stop. This won't make the other middle schoolers like you.
@Rudolph Schmidt my only life goal
@@rudolphschmidt313 it's TRUE, people go on like they know it was inaccurate well how do u know? The same people who always speak of ancient rulers and their theories about them when they truly dont know, people are so arrogant thinking all history is correct and that only they are right it's incredible the confidence
Hollywood takes a few dramatic liberties but the main events still happened , n English still got beaten by a far inferior army
0:05-0:11 King Menelaus and general Glaukus before the Trojan war
This was such a great movie!
It still is.
Even though there are a lot of historical inaccuracies in this film, I think this scene accurately depicts the feeling they actually had after winning at Stirling
Pride is never free..
0:35 wish I could do that to a few ppl
Great movie ever
ALBA GU BRÀTH!

😂😂😂😂
What bridge? talk about an ambush so the battle never actually started.
Battle of Stirling *BRIDGE*
Darn movie couldn't even get that right
Damn that sword must have had some power behind it for such a clean decapitation.
I lifted a sword like that in Edinburgh castle , bloody heavy must have taken a lot of strength to swing one
It's a claymore, bro. Lol. I wouldn't be surprised if that sword weighed over 50 lbs.
@@michaelgonzales558 swords need to be lighter to be efficient, even a greatsword weights less than 10kg.
@@hashteraksgage3281 I mean. Idk I guess....I was just guestimating honestly.
The Claymore certainly has the power!
What we need today, but there will be no William Walles for us today
😞🇺🇸🙏
*Wallace
Yip, definitely no William walles, William Wallace? yes, Walles not so much😂
Where's the bridge at? You know....the one that Wallace utilized to defeat the English?
eh, Stirling!!🤷♀️
1.09 All right! time for supper. 🤣
🤣 That arm at 0:05
Wallace did in fact order no prisoners were to be taken. This included the nobles, whose ransoms could then enrich their captors.
Spare me on the bleeping out curse words bullshit. We just watched a brutal scene.
The Guardian of Scothland
Most of the film's battles shot at the Curragh Kildare in Ireland.!!!!
BS title, this is the " Battle in some farm field with a bunch of pointy sticks " ! No Bridge, oops, never mind
nobody cares go away

When I pay my mortgage,so my wife and kids can enjoy the beautiful life of no worries
Those two opponents during the battle obviously don’t realise they are being filmed just playing tippy tippy with their swords.
Braveheart 2: Robert the Bruce
hi
you bled with wallace now bleed with robert
👍👍
We can show people's heads getting cut off, their eye sockets getting gouged out by daggers, and them getting morbidly stabbed to death, but censoring some swear words makes this scene less graphic?
It was crazy how that old man still fought after getting his hand cut off.
It's a great movie a lot of action, but when I see what they actually had to go through for freedom, all that killing and slaughtering is such a waste of human life for both sides.
Hope the Ukrainians watch this 🙏
🇺🇦🫂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Andrew de Moray is never mentioned in this battle yet it was his plan and execution of that plan that won the day!! I will say it again ANDREW de MOREY!
No. You said spelt it two different ways. Try again lol
Soooo where's the bridge?
In their hearts
That was easy. Wallace destroyed it with a thunderbolt from his arse.
Where's the Stirling Bridge?
English soldiers with a cavalry and armor lose to Scottish soldiers with no cavalry and no armor?
They got the Plot armor
American made up shit
Gotta love how they portrayed the imprtance of the bridge...
Nobody cares
@@arabianrebel61Everyone should. Historical accuracy is important to show the tactical genius that Wallace and Morray deployed at this battle
@@aratwhoisaprivate2109once again no one cares
@@arabianrebel61 I and all of my friends care so more than no one
I could never fight in medieval times with swords and axes. That shit is too crazy and I ain’t going out like that, getting my leg hacked off or a fat knife through my eyeball. FOH! I’m so happy I was born when I was.
Yup, especially given the fact that the average life span was around 30 years old you would stand correct that it's way better in this time.
That's what call some good hack & slash sadifaction.🤔😆
A yea the great battle of Stirling bridge... With no bridge...
I'd dearly like to meet the first twerp that complained about a films "historical inaccuracies" ,this is a medium of witches ,wizards and nicolas cage.
I appreciate protecting our virgin years from the F-word shortly before the beheading
"BASTARD!"
A sign of the times... bastard is bleeped out due to potential sensitivities and yet a man is decapitated moments later...
because it was bleeped i thought he said „fuck me“😂

All this over a silly football match.
Sassanachs fighting with their(Saxon) cousins. No Scots in this battle .

Not 1 black property of Europe
Total load of laughable fictitious crap.
You can criticise the film but the fact remains that the Scots won the battle of Stirling Bridge, defeating an English army nearly twice the size of the Scottish army.
