One of the most pwoerful speeches ever in a movie!
Mell Gibson hit that sccotish accent pretty well👑
Can we ever learn? Even from Great Iconic Epic Movies like BraveHeart!
Scotland freedom!!!👍🏴
I’ve always admired and respected the Scots! True bad assess and Fighters!
@@grantdavis6363 until they voted away their freedom to the UK when they had the chance again to be truly independent
No freedom for Scotland cus God save the Queen...

William giving speech the guys in the back in the far left and right.
"What's he talkin about ? " Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh
Seriously? Censoring "arse"? You shouldn't censor any words if your intent is to upload the greatest movie scenes as the channel name suggests. The clips should be viewed as intended. But censoring words like "arse" or "damn" etc is particularly stupid. They're just words.
I couldn't agree more,, ruined the whole speech !!
Changing the saturation is a bad call too.
As a proud Scotsman myself I love this movie🏴🏴🏴🏴
lets be honest
goosebumps
Hampden play this speech right before kick off - atmosphere is absolutely electric 🏴👌
Still get goosebumps.
Theyll never take our lives because we're unbreakable 😂😂
ОН великолепен!
The first full blown war movie from the 90s on as I remember, before this film people hated wars and soldiers.
"They'll never take our freedom!... but they have taken our Weetabix" 🤣
All time biggest goosebump movie moment lol ffs
He nailed the “scotch” accent
Scottish..not Scotch....I lived amongst the Scots to learn that one....in Dunfermline, Fife.
Scotch is the drink, it’s Scots
That is why it was between quotation marks 😂
Lol I think of Wrestlemania 21 and Triple H everytime I see this 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Almighty fashionable fight
Freedom
Still gives me goosebumps
Luuuuuuuv this so much!!!! Are you hearing me? This is your saute cook. This was our high volume nights!!! I heard you from a good place. You know me.
You-forthcoming. It's ok- I too.
Did you figure it out before me? Cuz I surely does feel a tiny bit lost in the wilderness. For reals.
This speech hits so hard, considering the current state of affairs…make of that what you will.
yes , but the problem wit the world today is not tryrany its the common people we have lost our way and forgot who we are.
@@MrMagee78 yes
He forgot to add the disclaimer: "unless there's a virus."
Or unless there is a democratic leaving voting and because of fear, the Scots chose to stay by their English "friends". Good luck without the EU, EU citizens and wonderful ministers like Johnson, May or Cameron.
or "unless we start a mass surveilance program, idk call it the PATRIOT ACT and say its in the name of fighting 'terrorism'' "
well actually as it happens and all that, it turns out they could and so did, and whatsmore, you all stood outside your houses and clapped as it happened!
It doesn’t have CC
unless its worded as "slow the curve"
What about daughters of Scotland
Some speech. My history is a bit rusty. Didn't the Scots loose?
Brave heart speaks volumes today 🙃
Bleepng out the word arse ?? FFS!!
I think it's kind of funny complaining about a bleep while you type FFS, which is essentially bleeping "For Fuck's Sake."
@@jkorshak or its just quicker to type "ffs" as opposed to writing out what it means lol
@@missingno88 Either way, it's a "bleep" in of itself.
After some research I have discovered the English general isn't Mr Bean? Wtf? They look exactly alike!
My last name has roots in scotland.
Spoiler: They took your freedom.
Unfortunately, they did take our freedom!
Speak for yourself Paul....I lived in Scotland as an young English person(between 3 years old and 13...). I showed every single person I met total respect. As I grew older my accent developed closer to a Scottish accent and although I was born in England and went back(with no choice/my Father's job), I still pine for the Highlands of Scotland and Scottish folk. I will always talk to Scots who come down to England and show them that same respect.
About 12 or 13 years ago, I met Jacob Rees-Mogg....this man and I spoke for 4 hours and I asked him why he had phoned me up. He said "..because you were the only person to fill in 40 questions I sent out in a 40 question Political question sheet about services, etc, etc...and my Father said "contact this man Jacob...he has reached out to you". Jacob seemed very interested in who I was and why I would fill in such a number of questions.
In a heartbeat I told him.."Best you don't flatter yourself Jacob...I had a row with my wife that night..and I was bored"......he laughed louder than any man I have ever met. We connected. One thing we spoke about was my Grandfather STOKER Harry Parsons who drowned as sea fighting for his country on The Repulse which went down in WW2. There are fighter's in my bloodline. My Father just passed away with Covid. Before he entered Hospital, he fought for three days and three nights....but ran out of strength when his body broke down but before he passed away his final words rang tore right through me..he said..
."I'm dying son...and I am so sorry for stripping you away from Scotland..I know it became your first home and you embraced Scotland and out of all of my children I know you learned to fight them and yet love them. Fight for life and your breath son, like the Scots did, tough and hard and you did with them...and became friends with them".
..my Father worked in Rosyth Dockyard in the sixties and seventies and was an amazing human being.
As a songwriter I have written about England and Scotland...LEAVING SCOTLAND will arrive in future years and months....SWEET LADY ENGLAND by HANNAH DRURY cand be found on youtube...my co-writer has Scottish blood in him. Imagine that.
No Scotland gave it away in the Act of union.
@@Believe-you-me- no, a bunch of swindlers hid in a basement and signed away Scotland's future. That's not Scotland, the Scottish people had no say in this so-called union. And a true union would allow a member to leave at any time. Is it too much to ask that the people of a country have their own say in how their country is governed?
@@PaulWelsh like a referendum? Maybe a once in a lifetime one? Like the last one?
@@Believe-you-me- Yes like a referendum, let's have one!
If the English wouuld have had television back then, Braveheart would be alone and all of his "army" would have been vaccinated yes-men.
Wasn’t William Wallace something like 6ft5 - 6ft7 in real life? Don’t get me wrong I mean I love this movie and Mel Gibson did an incredibly fantastic job portraying him but they couldn’t find a much taller actor who could portray him just as good?
It doesn't matter, I can't imagine anyone else than Mel Gibson...
Yes I’ve heard, kills men by the hundreds 😜
Hardly, in that medieval time. Six feet in height was above average, It would be considered as huge, tall, man. Now, six feet is average.
Mel, wanted only to direct this movie, studio (financing this movie) made a condition that Mel can direct but he has to be a main star. At the end, he directed, produced and starred in this movie. He himself said that Wallace was younger and more beautiful than him.
so...kill disney?
wtf did u do to the colour u hacks
Everyone thinks this is so great…. Hmm I’ll take Henry Vth or Patton speech any day.
no thanks I'll stick with this ... nothing beats Braveheart
what happened to the color in the footage? idk why you gave it this ugly desaturated look but stop it
I am sorry to say this ": this speeches, need to heard by ukranian right now...💪😡🇺🇦"
Do not compare the English to Putin's scum army. We are proud to train and support our Ukrainian friends. Freedom and democracy. 🇬🇧
They came with their tshirts to fight English armored men at arms. What a joke.
Trump is the modern day Braveheart!
