A common misconception is this was his debut but his debut were actually a year earlier in round 6 against the Gold Coast (Seagulls) at Seagulls Stadium. I know it says this in the video description but most fans out there think the game against South Sydney was his first grade debut.

Wasn’t his debut. He played against the Gold Coast and parramatta and Balmain the year previous. Why are people so desperate to mythologise him like he didn’t have an exceptional career aside from that.
