Almost unbelievable record as chokers. 1965 drew with Norths in last round, and only needed a win to force a play-off with future grand-finalist Souths. 1967 lost last 3 rounds of the minor premiership by 2 and 1 points to miss the semis by one competition point. 1968 just missed the semis. 1970 just missed the semis. 1971 needed just a last round win against Norths for a semis play-off but went down 13-15. 1975 need a win versus Canterbury-Bankstown to finish in top 4 but missed a goal from in front of posts to lose by a point and went out in 3 way play-off for semis. 1976 lost 24-25 against future preliminary finalist Canterbury-Bankstown in first round after leading 24-12 in first round. Next team out of the semis. 1979 lost last 3 rounds of the minor premiership to miss the semis by one competition point. 1980 lost pre-season final after leading at half0time. 1980 it was reckoned they should have mid-week competition final. 1983 lost elimination semi-final in extra-time after leading at half-time. 1988 and 1989 lost both grand-finals after leading at half-time.
