sir i read the same topic from david j.griffith and there it was mentioned that E.F in the flat loop(first loop) is zero but i wondered that it was rate of change of electric flux which had to be zero since E.F which is respinsible for drift velocity, cannot be zero. now my doubt is solved since you depicted that E.F is not zero. Thank u so much sir.
At around 17 mins., in case 1, how does he say that the second term is zero? If current in the circuit is changing( as it is), then why should the electric field not change?
@@avijitbhadury1955 here current is not change with time, charge on plate of capacitor is very with time. As sir said E = V / L, change in pd per unit length is constant so E is constant in conductor means outer region of capacitor. That's why electric flux is constant. And change in electric flux with time is zero.

Sir, 17:38 meh apne Electric Field ko const kiu liya??? Charging of a capacitor meh current to constant nahi hai, so shouldn't electric field be also variable??
hello Sir, Please tell me about, do we have to consider the displacement-current term for the alternative current for current-carrying wire (no capacitor using)? (i am one of your very first subscribers and a huge fan of your work) Thanks for your hard work
sir you explaination was awesome but initially you said it is tome variying electric field in capacitor and then at 24:50 you r saying that Efield is constant ?????
Thanks a lot sir....actually sir i'm a student of physics honours 2nd year....So that i'm very very interested in all these....and specially your teaching.....
Hello sir, The way you explained displacement current was really praiseworthy. In fact, i have no words to admire your talent, your teaching manner etc. Finally, i say thank you, thank you, thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart.
The loop you take in ampere circutal law is 3d semi spherical shape...but in ampere law as per my knowledge that is 2d loop like circular ..rectangular , or any other shape like triangular square etc etc..then how can you prove that law by taking a 3d loop.and how can you find dl ina 3d loop..please make me understand..
Sir, in 24:00 you told that electric field is constant inside the wirebut as in my knowledge if electric field is constant then no magnetic field is produced but according to ampere circuital law magnetic field is produced? Explain sir?
Sir, the battery we have used is a dc source. If we use a time varying source then the electric field in the conductor will also be varying. So as said in the video that electric flux is constant and hence the displacement current is zero in the wire part will not hold. This is the problem i came across. it will be of great help if you can make a video explaining this.
Sir please clear my dout at 17:14 how current can be constant in case of charging of capacitor it is exponentially decaying ....and we know that current density is equal to conductivity multiple with electric field ..... hence current changes exponentially than electric field will also change so flux can not be constant
There is a change in flux as well as current....that's why rate of change of flux and its product along with permittivity is not equal to zero but equal to current.....what he meant by saying const current in equation *1* is that he was assuming current is simply passing through a conductor as in case 1st
First of all lecture was awesome....but Sir 17:30 yaha par current enclose i hai..but yaha to current change ho raha hai ishiluya toh flux change ho raha hai capacitor me par ap bol rahe ho electric field yaha constant hai..... As we know ya jo plane surface hai yaha par flux to negligible small hai.... kiya is waja se apne yea term neglect Kiya Hai Sir plz ans plz....
Bro, how j=i/a=constant?? i is decreasing in the wire as capacitor is charging, when capacitor is fully charged, current will be zero. Current is decreasing means electric field is varying.
Sir, if we use a battery in this circuit, there is a constant electric field between the plates of the capacitor, so how can we get the change of electric flux between the plates, i think it should be use the AC source in this circuit, and that is why we will get the Displacement current concept..( if am I not wrong ), Reply sir

I also have a doubt on this. If current in the wire changes, then should the electric field responsible for drift of the electrons not change too?

In case anyone dont know....E inside a wire is equal to j.rho and j=i/a so it is constant and rho is constant therefore E inside a wire is constant
Bro, how j=i/a=constant??
i is decreasing in the wire as capacitor is charging, when capacitor is fully charged, current will be zero.
Current is decreasing means electric field is varying.
