This is one of my absolute favorites from the game. Totally agree!
The first time i stood on the cliff and saw the monastery in the distance...it was one of the most beautiful things ive seen in a game

Same here. :) There's only been a few moments in games where I literally had to stop and just marvel at the view before me. (Before this, it was in Deus Ex: Human Revolution, when you exit the elevator and view the Upper City of Hengsha for the first time. It's also the first time you actually see daylight in the game.) The moment when I walked over the hill and saw the view of the Rosymorn Monastery nestled amidst the cliffs in the afternoon light as this music plays was just sublime.
Such a magical feeling! I wish I could experience moments like that for the first time again D:
1:30 is one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard... it's I shame it's such a short fragment of the song

my first time venturing into mountain pass was so magical I was in complete awe, the heart warming scenery and this beautiful melancholy track playing in the background was such a drastic change from underdark and the early act 1 it made me so sentimental lol
Its my favourite place in the game! The area around monastery was sooo beautiful. Until little accident. 😂

I always go through the Underdark before going to the Mountain Pass purely for the satisfaction of seeing sunlight and overworld nature again. Currently running a playthrough with a camera mod that allows the game to be more immersive and I can't wait to visit the Mountain Pass. It's such a beautiful location and the one I felt most immersed within.
I always go to the shadowlands after the underdark and come here after that. Just standing on that cliff overlooking the monastery is so damn beautiful
Shame this area is so tiny. I would have loved a big map with this theme and setting
Why one of the best tracks in the game didn't end up in the OST is beyond me
This soundtrack is beautiful, at 1:50 has a lot of Divinity Original Sin 2 vibes, another masterpiece made by Larian with an exquisite soundtrack too.
This one is pretty much the BG3 version of the Hollow Marshes for me. Incredible songs that perfectly convey the vibe of the scene but sadly never made it to the official soundtrack.

This ost has a way of making you feel like everything is going to be okay.
When people ask why i love crpgs, i just think of 1:30.
Nothing compares to traveling through an unknown land, with nothing but your camp supplies and your party at your back on some grand adventure with gorgeous scenery and a lovely soundtrack. Wrapped in a blanket by the fire, playing a good rpg with the cats and those that you love.
It's just bliss.
i keep revisiting this song every day, multiple times even. It's just so good.

I am amazed at what can be created when your priority is art. This is a LOTR level quality soundtrack in it's epicness storytelling and melody, through and through.
Very mesmerized by Mountain Pass. It's one of my favourite locations in the game and this music does wonders to expand on its' atmosphere. I think today it finally clicked why I like it so much. It reminds me a fair bit of the work Jeremy Soule did in Guild Wars 2!

Brings me back to playing pokémon as a kid, the absolute joy of finding a place or a moment that was the complete opposite from the one in my friend’s copy of the game. The way this location contrasts with the Underdark is just breathtaking.
I wish all the quest lines had the same production value as Lae Zel's, she has like two entire dungeons that are totally otherwise skippable and then Gale just has "give him a few magic items, tell him not to blow up, and then solve one puzzle in act 3"
The parts with the French horn are pretty amazing too.
