    Hi Ry my windows sometimes can't be raised or let down from the drivers panel but if I go to the actual window to lower or raise it it works fine. So local mechanic said I have to replace some kind of master controller panel. This seems pretty easy but I don't know, maybe you would go over how to take it out?

  • @victoriakleber5518

    Hey Ry, love the videos. I have a 2007 Xterra. I am having a problem where the windshield fluid doesnt spray on my back windshield. The nozzle appears clean. Do you have any thoughts on why or how I can figure out what is wrong? Either way thanks for helping me learn so much about my own vehicle! :)

    • @Rythecarguy
      @Rythecarguy  7 років тому +1

      Of course! Working on your own car is awesome right? Makes you like it more.
      Anyway, Can you hear the pump running when you turn on the juice? Also do the front ones work?

    • @victoriakleber5518
      @victoriakleber5518 7 років тому

      Yes I can hear it, and the front ones work.

    • @Rythecarguy
      @Rythecarguy  6 років тому +4

      +Victoria Kleber odd, if you are sure they are clean then this would be my next step. Wait until you run your washer fluid tank almost empty, then put some water in it. Have someone get in the car and wait for your signal. Then remove the rubber hoses coming out of the pump. Water will then start pour out but thats ok. Just act fast. Tell the person to turn on the rear nozzles. If the pump sprays the water then you know that portion is good and the issue is in the line somewhere. If it does not then you know its the pump. Don't forget when you're done to run all of the water out and put regular washer fluid back in.

    On my 08 the washer is opposite the way it should be on the switch (front sprays back and back sprays front). I didn’t see 2 pumps but I did see 2 hoses (I think). Would it be safe to assume to fix my situation I would swap the hoses on the tank?

    • @Rythecarguy
