Hi does the lid lock cord have to be connected to run the full calabration thanks
When it goes into calabration mode it only does it for about ten seconds could it be the lid lock not being connected thanks
we have also the same model 4GWTW4800. we are told by the service center here in the cebu city, philippines that we need to replace the board of our unit. but the problem is that they cannot give any warranty for the replacement part. Is this also your policy in your company? Hope for your reply. thanks.
I have an MVWX600XW (4 years old) and it doesn't agitate but it continues through the cycle, and then does not drain and spin. I could unplug the cord and then switch the knob to drain and spin and the machine will drain and spin then. I did a diagnostic test and it gets stuck at 14 (Wash Rinse and Spin lights). Is this a control board issue?
very informative.. but what happens when you go out to install a prescreened board, and it won't calibrate? You do all the modes correctly for calibration, but when you push the start button to initiate calibration, all the lights go off.
We recommend that you try to get it into the calibration mode a few more times. It is tricky to get the timing down to get into the calibration mode. You may have a bad control.
Would the calibration code be the same for a Kenmore 11020022013? Control board looks identical but the part no. is W10480169.
Although the control boards look similar they are different. Unless the new control comes with a calibration sheet it most likely will not need calibrated. If the control will not work and you need further assistance give us the model number of your unit so we can try and help.

I have basically the same machine by mine has an additional knob. Why is there a black LED emitting infra red signal in the control/ main board? What is it used for?

I have the top load Whirlpool, just like in the video. Our maid turned off the water supply and unplugged it. Now its giving problems... Not spinning properly, draining too quickly. What can be the problem with it? Does the board need resetting or do I need a new board?
Nikita Clark There is no reset option. Disconnecting power for 10-15 seconds normally resets the control board. Do the clothes not come clean? These machines have lots of different energy saving wash modes so you might want to refer to your owners manual to be sure you are not observing normal operation before replacing the board.
I have the exact same washer but the part numbers don't match up "W10296052" this is the one on my manual will the part linked to this video work in its place?

I was going to help someone fix their front load Crosley washer. They said it didn't rinse, and stop spinning. I got it to rinse and spin. Then it stopped doing that. When I got it to work I still couldn't change spin speed, and some other settings. The lights just blinked 3 times. I looked up the manual and seen that the settings could be locked but they weren't. Could this be a problem with the control board?

My washer is a whirlpool md#WTW4800BQ0 but i can't get it to stop running cycles. if i don't cancel the next cycle immediately when it completes it will rerun. is this the control board?

Mine was doing the same thing and giving a Le or Lt code. Looks like Le, but really Lt. I replaced the control board and calibrated it and it now runs a full wash load and stops when finished. Before... it would run forever... over and over and over. Working great now.
