this was a fun song from when I was a young man. It brings back so many great memories, thank you my dear young lady for bringing it back again and 'reacting', I'm an '80s child so, I can't help but love it. Cheers, Thomas
This band is still going strong for 42 years. They have just been inducted in the rock and roll hall of fame due to the popular fan vote. So they have lots of fans still!
not only did duran duran put effort into their music but they also new at the time music tv was a part of their success so they put alot into their music videos , one of their videos ( save a prayer ) was filmed in just off the coast of india i believe with some amazing video shots of some amazing wonders of the world , i highly recommend watching this video just for that reason , its also a pretty song
Please check out the following in any order, but I'll start with the early 80s. Careless Memories Planet Earth Girls on Film Rio Save a Prayer Wild Boys Do You Believe in Shame Ordinary World Come Undone That's not even the tip of the iceberg with this band, but it's a start.
faye im so glad you choice this song to react to , when it came out in about 85 i remember watching this video over and over , duran duran again one of my favorite bank out of the eighties , again great reactions as always :)
yes the instrumental was awesome , agree , also duran has some other really fun songs to listen to , to name a few rio , ordinary world , come undone , hungry like the wolf , save a prayer , new religion to name a few , you may have already seen some of these but i hope you do some more reactions to duran duran , again love your reactions and commentary on the songs faye !!!
They do have much better songs. Not bad. The song hungry like the Wolf was groundbreaking. It was the first music video with an interracial kiss. So I respect Duran Duran for there ground breaking video (not this one) and artistic abilities. Duran Duran is pretty good. Thank you for Sharing a really good video music artist they did a good job on the video part
I saw your reaction to the back screen, showing in shadows two people with chains engaging in some questionable positions! I'm sorry for that because I never understood the juxtaposition of those scenes with the rest of the video. My younger sister looked at this video when it first came out and she was a preteen at the time. She had the exact same puzzled look on her face as you! I think D.D. was trying to be edgy but it didn't fit in with happy, bright vibes of "The Reflex!" So, I get your reaction to the S&M scenes in this video! Those scenes would be better suited to Industrial or Dark Rock, IMHO. Great Reaction. Thank you!
