- 2016 Jeep JK. Everything is stock at the moment… but it’s all about to change. Today we begin my first modification by installing the Garvin Sport Series Track Rack purchased from Extreme Terrain. The roof rack will add the much needed storage space! This will be a lot of fun… hope you stick around and enjoy the process!
This is just one of the modifications I would like to do… this will be fun!

There's a rack by BARRICADE which doesn't require drilling holes, but that one blocks the removal of the front roof panels. I think you did an excellent install on this and it looks great!
Thanks T! I looked at the Barricade, but it was a little on the big side (as most of them were). Wanted something that didn't look like a roll cage, this one fit the bill!
It's a really nice and clean job. If we could call out something tutorial, it's your video. It's a shame that we have to drill the roof in order to gain more space to storage in the JK.

I take the back seat out of mine, lots of room. Plus I have a soft top so the roof rack won't work.

@@OregonBatman Yup there is never anybody in my back seat, it lives in the spare bedroom. Loved your teardrop build, I got lots of great ideas from your build for when I do my cargo trailer conversion. Hope your planning another build.
@@kristiantolfree6540 Thanks Kristian! I do plan on more builds for sure! My neighbor converted his cargo trailer and it turned out great! 6 x 12 with shower in the front, kitchen, dining and bed area with storage. There are a few videos I made of his progress as he was building along. We had some great trips!
How did you get past the speaker in the undercarriage? Did they get in the way of tightening the fastener and bolt?
You'll actually remove the speaker housing... real simple, I think only four knobs holding it on. Drop it down, install the rack, put everything back in place and you are good to go. I thought I filmed that part, but I could be wrong... Cheers!
