I would have LOVED these toys as a kid. I don’t remember ever being attached to my store-bought toys. I preferred to play with fabric scraps, blank paper, empty boxes, yarn, and “trash” my mom was throwing away. I liked to make my own toys, and that’s exactly what this is!
Hi HelloSunshine, thank you for your comment. So happy to hear you loved playing with self-made toys as a child. I remember appreciating the toys someone in my family has made more too. I wouldn't call it "trash" though. All the things I have showed in my video but the doll are bought to work on them. I did make the doll out of things I already owned and reused them. Maybe some people would've called my old sweater "trash" because the fuzzy inside (I did not use for the doll) did not look very pretty anymore, but the rest I have used were also things what were no "trash". I just didn't needed them anymore for anything else. I believe good toys must have some beauty in them. Nobody wants ugly toys. It is possible to make beautiful things out of someone else's "trash". I feel like this is important to know especially for the ones who are new to Waldorf Education. I wish you a wonderful day! Josephine
