Only 7% were against sending more weapons to Ukraine, while 3% said they weren’t sure. Even among the voters from the two most far left-wing parties in the parliament, 66% and 68% are in favor of donating more weaponry, while only 19% and 12% are against. The most ultra left-wing of the two parties, that used to be against NATO and NATO membership have also changed their stand, now being all for NATO and a NATO membership, at least for the time being, due to Putin's invasion of Ukraine, for which they find no valid excuse.
In related news, the Danish Prime Minister said at the Munich Security Conference that :
“If Ukraine loses, we risk all of Europe and the West losing. I have no doubts about that. I don’t think that Putin will stop with Ukraine. He’ll march on to the next country,” She also went on to underline that Denmark has yet to consider whether to donate fighter jets to the Ukrainians.
But the Danish foreign minister said he expected Ukraine’s western allies to green-light sending fighter jets to Ukraine in the near future.
“If you ask me as foreign minister whether the free world will donate planes to Ukraine, then I’ll say that I expect it to happen in the foreseeable future,” He said.
