You're right. It takes a long time, but it is randomly chosen and not really in order. Some build requests will never be done but there's always a chance one will be selected.
I love the interface and wallpapers of Windows Longhorn before the 2004 reboot, and I don't despise the Aero interface either, and even more so if my Wii U console reminds me of it with its menus like those of Pikmin 3.

I think it was related to me using Parsec as I heard something while recording but forgot about it as I didn't edit the video until a day later and I was super sleepy (had a long super early work day before recording) while recording this video leading me to be even more forgetful about it.
Dang something went weird. I was actually using Parsec to remote control my PC from my MacBook and I think it heard it during recording as well, but forgot about it as I edited it a day later. I think it's related to Parsec. Edit: After reviewing my Vegas Pro file. I could not replicate it. Not sure why.
So you are saying you downloaded a VHD with 4032 already installed? No absolutely not. All you need to do is make sure the BIOS date is set or else you are locked out of the build. See description for compilation and timebomb dates as I put that on every video.
@@introverted.magic.shifters Here's my advice: Don't ever use Virtualbox. Use VMware Workstation Pro. It's super easy to get for free and it's actually way easier to use honestly. You can change the date in a Virtualbox VM but it's way more complicated. Also VMware has backwards compatibility options which makes it way better with builds than Virtualbox. And drivers will work in VMware.
@@Sonicrush007 yes just researched and you have to like put in a specific command to boot into bios or like change time and date in command prompt or whatever... i'll try vmware workstation whenever i have the time for it. thanks for advice.
I don't cover fake OSes or builds. If you see a build video or OS on this channel, it's 100% real and as I don't like wasting my time with meaningless fakes.

Like Whistler, I wish Longhorn builds were formal final release versions. Both provided great UI transitions from their era
