- I’ve been to more than 70 restaurants this year, and now, at the end of the year, I’m going to pick my favorite places. In the end, I was able to choose 10 restaurants that were unforgettable.
Ranking them, was another story, because each one inspired me for different reasons.
So I present to you, in no particular order, my Top 10 favorite restaurants of the year.

My name is Alexander. I’m the co-owner of a ONE Michelin star restaurant, and I’m on a mission - to find inspiration in gastronomy. I love fine dining, good wine and sharing what I know with other people.

Which restaurants were your favorites in 2023?🔥
Idk if youll ever come to the US but if you do you should check out Okta in Oregon, we dont have Michelin in Oregon but its a sick spot i think you would enjoy
Central by far
Also Central or Diverxo were the coolest
Plenitude. I love seeing them sauces
Central and Plenitude!
This is easily becoming one of my favorite channels. It would be entertaining to see a “beginners” series documenting first-timers to fine dining as well as etiquette and expectations for those of us who want to visit some of these places in the future.
@@michabroef7454that what you're describing is not what he meant. Everybody can think of what you just wrote. You're a bit too simple perhaps 😅
It was incredible seeing the growth of this channel and can't believe it's only been a year. I have faith this channel will grow into one of the preeminent food reviewers of UA-cam and wish your team all the success- you deserve it.
r u real?
@@srpelissier Like... a human? Sure, but how do you want me to prove it though?

I agree with you and have been fortunate to dine in several Michelin star restaurants. All of the top rated restaurants will welcome you whether new to fine dining or not . They are trained in inter- personal realtionships and will make you at ease and comfortable. Dont be afraid to ask if you are not sure what to do . I hope one day you will experience a moment in time that these videos give. Enjoy!
mcdonalds nr 1, calling it rn
Nothing comes close
@@ergo7982Burger King: "Allow me to introduce myself"
Taco bell "hola que paso"
Wendy's better
White Castle got to be number 1
the best thing youtube did this year for me, was to recommend this channel. as an chef in training it is very beautful and aspiring to watch your videos. 'Thank you vermuch for this wonderful experience
When you open up your very own restaurant, give this comment a reply so I may take a visit 🙏
Thanks to you Alex the Goat. You deserve all the success for pumping out top quality videos so often! Love from Sweden.
Must be nice living in Swedistan. Can't wait till the pork ban...
I am so happy to see a Hungarian doing such fantastic work on this channel. Alexander is an ambassador for his country in the culinary world.
Your videos are always well-edited, well-written and exciting to see. You and your team express how your experiences were in a way to make us feel like we also went to the same places. I appreciate you giving people an extra-inside of what this world has to offer. Next year will be strong!
Boury felt like something else to me, even though I have never set foot on a fine dining restaurant, Boury feels like home to me.
It felt extremely comfortable and gave me the feeling that the crew was *really* pleased of you being there.
Alexander, the beauty and elegance of your videos are addictive! I've only discovered your channel a couple of days ago and have already binge watched all of your videos. Thank you for sharing with us your perspective on the beautiful world of gastronomy and helping us vicariously experience such excellent levels of art, beauty, connection, and elevated tastes through your eyes. The editing of your videos is exceptional and your sense of style (albeit irrelevant) is so timeless and classic. If you ever think of making non-food related content, I would love to know more about your fashion, favourite stores, grooming routine, etc. Your style is so refined and sophisticated!
Damn, never been first view but here we are. Keep up the good work!
What a journey it has been even just as a viewer. So glad I found your channel.
Great summary, especially because it is not a ranking, but special shoutout to some places without making others look bad.
And the last mention because of the company you visited with is a great criteria.
Looking forward to 2024.
I agree with one of the comments below - would LOVE to see you presenting the essential table etiquette as well as how to "deal" with wine around the table. A great source of content for you as well!
To sum it up - this became my favourite channel across YT. I do wish you all the best, you deserve it!
Mate, your channel makes me work harder. So much I want to experience for myself and my family. Keep it up in 24! Looking forward to it!
It has been so amazing to see how far the channel has grown! I came across your channel after just the first video, and was immediately hooked. As someone who has a high interest in the culinary world and is all about hospitality, this channel is just absolutely perfect. I'm very excited for what 2024 will bring for you and the channel! Thank you for the beautiful year!
Next year this channel deserves 1 million subscribers. Love your content and happy new year in case this is the last video of the year 🎊
Happy to see Frantzen on the list!! Great restaurant experience, absolutely loved it. Love this channel, looking forward to seeing where you visit in 2024.
This is one of two channels that I have been watching literally since the first video or two, and the second that I saw and thought “damn, this is gonna be massive.” The other was Binging with Babish, and at this pace, that’s the scale this is heading. Keep up the incredible work, one of the best food channels!
Almost 200K subs! :)
Congratulations to YOU, Alexander for creating such an incredible Channel.
Also, congrats to all winners, and major shout-out to Stefan Stiller of Taian Table !
Thank you for this past year on bringing us along on your journey exploring fine dining around the world. You’re such a talented presenter and your passion for food comes through in your videos. I had the lucky opportunity at trying my first Michelin starred restaurant last year. I took my family to Singlethread in Sonoma this year to celebrate my 30th and was blown away by it!
Love the show. Happy New Year Alexander.
So happy for the channel's success. Watching since one of the beginning videos, cheers to 2024
Loved all your vids -- thanks!
10/10 for your choice of Top 10. Been a foodie myself I love to explore with you as sadly I will never be able to go myself. Thank you for taking me along and may there be many more food travels in 2024. Maybe one day you can review Fyn in Cape Town, my home city. It was 37th in the world in 2023. Thank you Alexander
#1 on Alexander’s list is more important than a Michelin star.
Best Chanel hands DOWN........More pleace
Love the success that this channel is getting, because that means we can get even more restaurant reviews in the coming years. By the way I made dinner for friends of mine 2 days ago and one of them brought with him a 5 puttonyos 1988 Tokaj which made me think of this channel for a second. Anyways I wish you all a happy new year!
Thank you Alexander for bringing light to the beauty of gastronomy!
Watching this channel has been such a great escape and seeing places I'd never heard of. We are planning a trip to Iris.
So excited to see what’s to come!!!
It was the channel I always searched for and then suddenly it was here. Thank you!
Love this channel Alexander, for someone who may only dine at one three star in their life you have put on display a lot of professionals life’s work for us the indulge in, thank you
I love your manner in describing these restaurants and the amazing video detail for each one. Just a side note, I dined at “ The Fat Duck “ in 1998 ! Fried chicken leg with mashed potato… delicious but it was the red pepper crisps that stole the show ! This was at the birth of The Fat Duck .
What a journey we've got to experience with you! Outstanding work. Thank you.
Thank you!So many possibilities to explore!Happy New Year.
Thank you for starting this journey! I hope there will be many more years to come
This is one of may favorite channels - your videos have a cinema quality and are so interesting and well produced. Bravo Alexander!
All of your selections were beautiful. As someone who can't afford the fancy/ expensive places, I'm looking forward to traveling vicariously with you in 2024 to see more fascinating places. Happy New Year and congratulations on your channel's success!
I remember finding the first of your videos randomly recommended to me while you had like 5k subscribers. Today, you are close to 200k. It was an amazing journy through various countrys and restaurants; places I will never visit myself, but was able to experience it because of you, your channel and of course your team behind all of this. It has become a "tradition" in our relationship to cook a somewhat-fancy dinner and to watch your newest episode while dining. Thank you for all your hard work going into this project, it brings a lot of joy and various other positive emotions to everyone, and especially to lower-income people like myself, who will most likely never dine that good, but are now given a great insight on the fine-dining-world! I wish you, your team and your family best of luck and wishes for the upcomming and every year. To many many more of your spectacular videos and journeys through the fine-dining world! Greetings from germany from both of us.
Love that you added the videos for each restaurant in the description!
70 restaurants in 1 year is like a new one around every 5 days or so... must've been exhausting to endure fine dining every couple days just for us. Thank you for your sacrifice. 🙏
Mr. Alexander you and your are a blessing. Please keep the fantastic videos coming and a Happy New Year Sir!
Love the show. WISH to experience all of them
Awesome top 10! I hope to see more Japanese 3 Michelin star restaurants on this channel next year.
Very quickly you became the best foodie youtube channel! Congrats! I've been to several of your choices and now putting all the rest to the bucket list. Thank you!
Thanks you alot for your enthusiastic view of culinary world. Happy New Year
Alexander, I didn't love your channel when I first started watching it, but over time, I've become a huge fan! I love your no-nonsense, serious, friendly approach to reviewing restaurants, and the cinematography and narration are always great. (I wrote a whole blog post about you as one of my favorite youtubers of 2023) Thank you for sharing your travels and experiences with us! You've inspired me to check out at least a few new restaurants, and I'll definitely be dropping by 42 when I'm back in Hungary. Looking forward to where you take us in 2024!
I just want to congratulate you for more than a year of UA-cam and 180k subs. You were really an inspiration and motivation to me whenever i felt HUNGRY. Here’s to 180k more
Happy New Year Alexander. Thank you for sharing some great experience's experiences. I am looking forward to the journey next year. I cant wait.

Amazing channel!!! Amazing content!! Keep it coming
Great stuff as per usual! Can't wait to see your visit to Alchemist. :)
Best new channel of 2023 right here. I love how unpretentious yet dignified your videos are, Mr. Alexander. Well done and here's to more years on UA-cam.
Thank you for bringing this channel to life. It was really a delight to watch each restaurant you go to and to more in the future.
Happy New Year and thank you for an enjoyable and entertaining channel. See you next year.
Loved your 2023 overview !! I have some on my list to visit in 2024 !! Curious which is your real number one .... Thanks for all your reviews this year, looking forward to next year, and also to your visit of the Netherlands !
Well done on a fantastic channel
Exactly the video I was hoping for! I will enjoy this on the big screen later:)
love your channel and content ...love from India ...happy new year .
You make really really good videos. Happy new year!
Thanks Alexander. You've created a super channel! Iris was the one for me - incredibly futuristic and unique. 🙏🏽
Fan of the channel since day 1. What a fantastic year Alexander .
This channel is fantastic. Congratulations
I’m currently working in a fine dining establishment for almost 4 years now, and I have learnt a lot throughout those years, and when I found this Chanel few months ago….i couldn’t stop watching all your videos. I was always passionate giving out the best experience to all the guests, paying attention to every single detail. I am currently in based in Hong Kong in a newly opened French Cuisine “Plaisance by Mauro Colagreco”. Although the fine dining scene in HK hasn’t been the best in my opinion…but having to come watch your videos just widened my knowledge in fine dining. And I got to say I just want to keep going with my passion and I do plan at some point to leave Hong Kong and explore in other countries to gain more knowledge and experiencing other cultures through people and food.
Thank you Alexander for this Chanel. I am very glad that this Chanel has grew quickly and I’m all for it!
Happy New Year!! 🥳
Michel
Such a wonderful channel. Thank you for taking all of us along on your culinary adventure. I would like to get your take on my hometown 3-star restaurant, Addison. Hope to see you in San Diego soon.
Wonderful job Alex))))))))))))))) These restaurants are indeed the best in the world))) I appreciate when you mention about the servers, the Maitre D, the sommelier etc... Perfect job & pls keep on doing what you are doing cz it is amazing))))
Brilliant to see Tresind Studio in the top 10!! 🎉❤
Thanks Alexander for these wonderful videos, my hope is to someday have the time and money to go and have the experience myself.
Tresind studio looks to be the one i would pick. The story tells about culture and emotion, and that is what its all about, when you can combine fine dining with feelings, thats the recipe for lifetime memories.
I can‘t wait for this channel to blow up. Easily one of the most entertaining, informative and interesting dining channels on UA-cam. Keep going🤲🏼
Thanks for creating this channel, it's something that was needed here. Next year please come to Bangkok and try out Suhring, Potong or Villa Frantzen.
I am bursting with excitement! First: what a great channel! Alexander is infectious with his enthusiasm. His diction is admirable, and I feel the wording was chosen carefully. We are being taken on many memorable journeys! As a food aficionado, I can appreciate the visual side of presented dishes and try to imagine the flavours. As a passionate cook I am greatly inspired by some combinations. Thank you Alexander! Also not very mature: but I wish to be you! :D :D
you have the BEST food vids on youtube thankyou!!
Thank you!
EVER restaurant in Chicago Illinois. I've eaten at many Michelin restaurants in the world and worked at a handful, and what they are doing there is something special!

One of the best channels i´ve found over 12 years of search
I like the restaurants that offer non-alcoholic drink pairings ❤
Never been to a 3 *** restaurant so I can't tell which is my favourite However if you come back to France some day, I'm happy to experience one with you 😁
Really fan of your channel, thanks !
Lasiette's dishes look like true visual art, you can see there's real talent and not good formulas going on way more than in any other place i've seen.
i dont usually comment on youtube, but this is definitely one of the best channel.

I have only been to Boury, which was excellent, but the other nine are now on my wish list.
. “Let them eat cake” comes to mind. I was hoping to see Golden Corral in Ft Lauderdale on his list, but maybe next year.
