i have a brand new battery , mines doing it as well though my battery may not be as good as it was died once , but mines causing Ignition loss/missfires at mid to higher rpms
If it still sputters after getting a new battery, it very likely is a bad reverse rev limiter. There are a number of videos about replacing or bypassing the limiter on UA-cam.
@@therealcanadian2448 , glad to hear, I'm having the same issue & see many people were bypassing the rev limiter to solve the problem. It never made sense to me because the rev limiter was doing it's job. Basically what everyone has been doing, is removing the alarm that is telling them the gear position sensor is bad. It removes the symptom, without actually fixing the problem. By fixing it correctly, I will keep the rev limiter intact for a safety in reverse. Thank you for the reply!
@@prototypeman no problem! Worked for me , just pull it out Clean it very very fine sand paper and clean contact points then plop er back in should work!
