Warning for anyone trying to grow a big following to make money: beware of the type of content that you're creating to generate that following. If its just quick 6 second viral type videos, your followers aren't going to be very invested in you. Big numbers don't mean anything if they don't create dollars. You want to establish connection with your audience

def going to pay attention to how recent the comments are on trending audios to make sure the one i want to use isn't on its way out! did you have a learning curve when it came to filming/making high-quality reels? i feel like no one talks about this, and i'm so curious. some of the accounts i come across who grow really fast start right out the gate with super high quality reels, and it seems like they were already photographers or something (which i mean, love that for them!) but i JUST made my account with no filming/tiktok experience at all. so ofc my first reels look like trash lol. so i'm trying to learn all about tripods, angles, editing, etc! i feel like i need to become a film maker tbh it's so overwhelming!
Haha its okay my first videos werent the best, i would recommend studying other people’s content. Get a lot of detail clips to fill in gaps in your editing (also makes them look more aesthetic). Make sure your iphone or camera settings are correct, and turn on high quality uploads (there are some tutorials on tiktok for that). I recently have been using capcut to edit and although i film in 4K i export my video in 1080p which changed everything for me, because IG and tiktok cannot process 4k so sometimes the quality might not look the best. Hope this helps!

same like you I've been consistence on instagram and now I gained 10K plus. it's all about consistency and understanding what your audience wants from you and the niche that it will help gain more followers. Rn I'm just waiting to get paid (in someway somehow like the other you tubers/influencers keep saying) which I'm really trying to understand how to get monetised honestly.
I dont think reels pays you at the moment, i think you can get more brand deals, but I havent received anything about making money through reels ads like how you would youtube
