    If lapped riders don't get pulled and you actually wanted to just support your team mate you wouldn't be going for a lap, you would just sit fresh and support for a leadout. Be honest you were all about going for the 7th place! 😉

    Not going to lie I was a bit relieved when will went in the break, I just had to ride the front just fast enough to not let them lap. (I’m Simon’s teammate)

    This was my A race, at Cat4.
    Crashed three weeks before. Barely healed physically in time, but absolutely lost the edge mentally. Couldn’t get comfortable in the pack. Tried to ride for a teammate a few hours later in the Cat 3, and had nothing.
    I’ve ridden gravel roads that are smoother than that long down hill.

    I cranked out a 418 for a minute in a start yesterday. I can't imagine 5 minutes of that effort!

    I've never seen the field getting (almost) lapped twice. Must've been confusing in the race.

      10 speed 11-22. The goal is to minimize the spacing between cogs. Works great for flat 4 corner crits. Hurts a bit more with courses like these

    Really stupid move, it’s like they both were on different teams, I can bet my unborn child that if he stuck and helped his teammate that 4th place could have turned to 3rd place.

      @@willsitz4901 Yet he got 4th out of 7 people, with some help he would 100% get Top3, no doubt in my mind. Having a buddy working their ass off during the final 2-3 minutes of the race is really essential for you to succeed in the final 200m.
