- After weeks of off-road training, I finally pushed myself to the next level with Hardcore Spain! From battling gravel and sand to tackling my first real slopes, this ride tested my skills, confidence, and determination like never before. Did I conquer the trails, or did the trails conquer me? Watch to find out!

The glee in your voice at successfully managing a manoeuvre on your bike is positively infectious. It's really lifting the spirits of this old bloke with chronic depression!
Any Given Saffy Sprocket Sundays! ❤🤙🏽
❤️😍
❤well done gal!
Super fan alert.....well done Saffron 🎉
Thank you so much for the support 🤠🙏
"I'm a little bit chaotic"... you also apparently have a gift for understatement. Great job with the off-roading you are learning a lot. Another wonderful video getting me through the winter without my bike. Thank you. Ride Safe and Stay Crazy.
Saffy, you didn't dump it once, and it was trickier terrain. Your morale seemed much better, and riding appeared better, what was the difference? You seemed to have what you needed here versus the last two videos with the Tetron. You are advancing and getting better!
Once again, well done Saffy just keep chipping away at developing your experience, one day it will flow 😘🤗
Slowing getting there!
That was a great catch Saff, you really have improved, nice one. Have a good week, looking forward to the next vid
Glad you enjoyed it
Now that looked like you were tackling the challenges there in good spirit and just did it! That looked REALLY good! 🤗
You are wonderful and it's a joy watching your progress 💜💜💜
Thank you so much!
Beautiful work Saffy yes keep going strong my friend !!!!
Thank you for the support ☺️🙏
36 k now..👍 & it seems to me that your skills are improving steadily, including your breath control..🧐👍
So close! 😁😁😁😁
A big " bloody well done" saffy, small steps make giant strides 👍👏
doing awesome and always love the videos
Thank you so much for your support ❤️❤️
S.E Spain - Truly scenic. Also, it looks like you were prepared to give it some revs where required. Brilliant.
Another great one saff and you are absolutely smashing it keep up the hard work 🧡🧡💪
Thank you so much 🎉😍
Lovely shots of your balance, standing up and just absorbing whatever the bike does 👌
Is it the camera making it look like you're leaning well forward 🤔
I do tend to lean a bit more forward on the bike but the camera is also a 360 camera so it will over exaggerate it
One small piece of advice, having raced off-road for years. Always at all times have at least one finger covering the clutch and front brake, because when it inevitably goes wrong you can react instantly and regain control faster which is ultimately safer. Good luck and have fun
Again, worth watching to the last minute😂
😂 thank you so much 😊👍
hi i watched the video where you tell your story .. congratulations for making it this far !
you are my favorite because you are natural and not a clown. i don't understand why you have so few viewers but you will develop perseverance !
Thank you so much 😀
Look at you grinning like a bloody winner aye hehe love it saffy goodonya mate cheers
Nice job, Saffy! Great video!
Thank you! Cheers!
Its so amazing to see your confidence and skills grow so much! I will be doing my first solo motorcycle trip soon to spain so will think if you as I pass though france and spain. I wish i had more time! Will be strictly on road and headed south fast to enjoy the roads down there. Wasnt anticipating any heat through, just less cold. I will need to make sure i keep room stare to store layers the further south i go
Good stuff Saffy 😊
😊
the bars looking out of line does my head in, but the landscape looks beautiful
Sorry 😂
Am gonna teach myself soon then got a Himalayan marches weekend in May. Beginner routes with others and some camping!
Then hopefully more experienced for ABR although that was ok last year. (Was just Captain slow and was knackered). This year I just need basic stuff and technique and hrs of it..
P.s def need a more adv spec helmet at some point.
Another good video Saffy, although your helmet camera bracket possibly needs tightening so the angle stays pointing up and not drooping down to look at your fuel filler cap and your front wheel 😂👍 but congratulations on improving and developing your off-road skills.
I still struggle on gravel tracks at camp sites, I have a long way to go!!
Great riding saffy ! I thought the terrain looked like the USA as it looks so much like a desert. I had no idea I could fly there in about 1 hour as it's in Spain!. :)
There's an old saying use it or lose it, it's certainly the way with my mechanic background and it's also the way with biking, my confidence is no where near what it used to be on bikes
Hi Saffy have been watching for a while already but lately it looks like your handlebar is a bit off to the left side…but it might be just me.
Have a crf 300 l here in S.Spain too lovely to see you spending some money again on training.Did the same and money well spend!
They were! I had crashed a lot by this point 😂
It's Saffron on a Sunday ... the hard way to learn is broken bones ... and maybe falling on flat cactus.
A cactus doesn't sound fun at all 😂
It’s difficult to tell from the camera, but what I found caused me to crash on the slightly bigger rocks was not keeping the arm/chest triangle sufficiently strong. What happens is when you hit the rock, if you haven’t got a really strong position, then your body and head go forward transferring weight onto the front wheel, which then digs in.
1:40 your not supposed to say that!
Your supposed to say you meant to go over to the right as you liked that line better!!
Well done Saffy, more off road riding is my plan for 2025, how are you getting on with goggles over glasses?
These ones are great! They're made by LS2 and are designed specifically to fit glasses!
Hi Saffy, Is there any chance you could join BlueSky so I could follow your updates on there? Like so many people I have closed my Twitter account. I'm looking forward to the MCN show in a couple of weeks. Not sure if you're going? Perhaps you're still in the desert :)
People ride off-road for the thrill of feeling the bike sliding, bucking & bouncing berneath them while they dance on the pegs. The adrenaline-rush has to (greatly) outweigh the fear or it's just a ball-ache. If you feel you can get to this state then it's worth pursuing. Up to now you've approached it like you were doing your CBT. You did look a bit looser in this episode, he's a good instructor, I'm hoping for the best, but it has to come from within.
Always 2 fingers on clutch and brake.
gg
😊
Last vid u had trouble. The bike is too heavy on dirt for you. Your instructor is zipping around on a bike that's 100 pounds lighter. He should know better. I'm happy you're improving tho.❤
Sorry but only Australia has OUTBACK.
Outback just means an area that isn't populated :)
@SaffySprocket
Yeah in Australia
:)
