Our Story:
We are four years into a seven year effort of transforming 20 acres of "Piney
Grove" in Northwest Florida into our dream homestead/mini farm to be filled
with animals and joy. We plan to have a variety of miniature critters on our
pastures, raise free-range chickens, grow fish in our pond, garden
organically, plant fruit and nut trees, and harvest wild game. Our goal is
to escape the stresses of corporate life and embrace all that country living
has to offer as we enter the next chapter of our lives. Follow along on our
journey!

I wish I had seen this video much earlier. I have a larger tool box mounted in the same area and have damaged it by the top link hitting it. I have continued to use it mounted in this area but I am very aware when using rear implements . Great video Hopefully helping someone avoid these concerns.
It's a good place for a toolbox, just needs a sturdy bracket. So far the fix is holding up well. Thanks for watching.
Nice upgrade! Turned out nice and solid. Great solution!
It seems to be holding. If it breaks this time, we got bigger problems!
Nice set up and solid 👍🏻🙂🙋🏼♂️
Thanks Luc. That's the way they should have made it!
That looks like it’s solid. Good luck with it. I watch countless toolbox solution videos and I just don’t get it. I strapped a nine dollar harbor freight ammo can to that bar to my L2501 a year ago and it’s work flawlessly. Does not interfere with any of my implements except the post hole digger. But as you know, that’s not an implement you use that often. 👍
Thanks for watching. We have a video coming up of my friend on my old L3800 with a tool box on that bar and it's all beat up. But we trailer a lot and the 3pt hitch hits it when unloading.
@@PineyGroveHomestead maybe its the implements? Or placement? I use a bushhog, disc, boxblade, bottom plow, doesnt cause a problem. Who knows?
Id recommend you buy a welding machine and learn how to weld. Mig is easy. I got tired of having to drop things off to a welding shop, having to wait then paying their fees.
I 100% don’t regret the price or the learning experience. If i break something i can pull it right into my shop and weld it up in minutes!
You are not wrong...just not there yet. So many things to do before I can set up the shop the way I want it. I'm a very BASIC welder!
@@PineyGroveHomestead ill help ya any way i can!
I hope people watch this. It can save them a lot of trouble. I would say that anyone who has one, they are better off doing what you did before it breaks. Have a nice weekend.
I wouldn't recommend that particular brand of toolbox. But I also haven't found any other with a thicker bracket that uses that location. For now, I think we are all set with the fixed one. Thanks for watching. Brad&Deb
