Negatale is one the characters where I can’t really tell if I hate playing as them or not. On one hand I really like killing hyper aggressive horror axe users, but on the other hand I don’t like dying to everything else Not to mention that the camping potential for this guy rivals that of Hardtale before he got reworked is honestly kind of cool
In conclusion: Negatale is trash on all upgrades except for the final one, and even then the final upgrade is barely decent and not worth grinding for. My suggestion: Go for something like Dust Sans upgrades since core is being added soon, or get Hardmode Classic Sans, or try getting Fell's Low Tier God skin, or just grind Dustswap papyrus because last upgrade is crazy op.
0:00 - 1:10 this is what it looks like when i (who had no exp on negatale after hitting 100 wins) try to use him, i miss low win servers so much. im quite litteraly confined to using fell, swap, and playing singleplayer.
Maxing negative was so painful for me that I literally maxed everything else, literally everything else and only then negative, I cant even remember how I got the exp, the only thing I remember is me having 3k wins when I got it maxed (even base little can be better than maxed negative wth)
Negative sans, from the looks of it, has barley changed, if at all, since he was first released (or atleast when i played) Only change is a remodel, but not much else. So it makes sense why he seems so bad, he was made early, so most of his things are built on fighting the older charas, back when souls werent very strong, and you only really had the charas to attack with
Its sad how you are forced to find stuff like lvl 1 uff or afk players to get exp on base

dusttale has new blasters which are good now for targetting.
btw using the blaster is useless so try to use the bones more and also don't move until someone is near ya.
The blaster is good as early pressure, but Negatale is a camper. Zone and Spin enemies and use blaster to deny area.
