Great haul! Good job! It is a good feeling to have a stocked pantry and fridge. I can't believe how much some items have gone up in price. I am so glad your Dad goes shopping with you!
Rummo is an Italian brand, in Ireland they sell the whole range about 20 styles of pasta, sauces, pesto and all the rest. Normally has a really long shelf life, one of the more expensive brands here, but really good.
"Everybody was wrinkled up. Old and saggy" 😂 Oh, Meghan your comments always make me laugh so much! Anytime I watch your videos you always brighten my day 😊
my mom makes this salad with grated celery root, carrots, and an apple. She just seasons it with salt, red pepper, and mayo. It's such a good side, it goes with everything.
Megan, I get my yeast at sams it's a tow pack .And you store it in the cubard until you open it up. Then I put some of it in a glass jar in the refrigerator. The rest of the package I put in the freezer in freezer bag.Sincerly Debora Atkins 🙂
Celery root, boil in half milk half water (take away bitterness) half way add cauliflower. Once soft drain , discard the milk. Mash together with butter. Carb free mash. Great fit topping cottage/shepherds or fish pie.
Our Walmart near Indianapolis has had iffy produce. I do a once a month trip to aldis for produce. It lasts twice as long. The artisan lettuce lasted for a month in the fridge! I put a damp paper towel in the bottom of the plastic container. And it was so mild and almost sweet. I purchase flats of some of aldis canned goods also, so for my rotational pantry. Stocking up to save and for the events coming. I love your humor!
Fun haul! Love your Dad! So cute! Also loved your live cooking stew but had to jump off quick as the hubs was pouring concrete for our new hot tub and needed me!🥰🤪
Hi Meghan Did you know that 100%of all the profits of all Newman's Own products goes to charity.Paul Newman made sure that all his product brands were set up that way ,before he died.Newman's Own pineapple salsa is good.and also their frozen pepperoni pizza and their Chicken BBQ pizza is good too!!Lyatt Sandee from Ohio. 💜😊
Meghan, when you and your dad were getting syrup Mrs. Butterworth was down a shelf for two hours in between what you guys were getting there were two bottles of Mrs. Butterworth
I wouldn't say it was a fail it's a great goal and if you had to meet that budget there alot of room for change as far as what you buy. It's great to have a goal❤💕
Another great 🛒🛒🛍️ shopping haul. You're dad makes shopping a lot of fun. I think he deserves a bag of Cadbury eggs. 🎉 Food prices are certainly on the rise.
@@erinsabattis8623 what change? Getting rid of everything that people think is racist is ridiculous. Like someone said she didn't find her name racist. Why should we?

The Cadbury Mini Eggs are my favorite! I buy a few packages to last the year...I used to buy 8 packages...lol now I just do 3 or 4. They have come out with other versions during other holidays.
Hi there so nice to see u and ur dad shopping again.I really like to watch ur shopping videos even that I live in South Africa..I must say some of ur food are cheaper by u as it is here. Our food is very expensive here now and the prizes is going up again.but we will cope .Have a nice day further and say hello to ur dad.always nice to see you 2 together.God bless .❤❤❤❤❤💐💐💐💐🇿🇦
Hi Megan, 1 month delayed to the video 😂 Not sure about the US but in the UK Aldi sell their own brand Nutella and I have to say its amazing, very similar to the real stuff and WAY cheaper 😊 my brother who has very sensitive taste buds eats aldi brand rather than Nutella.
I bet that lemon pepper grinder would be great on fish! I use the salt & pepper grinders and they're fabulous! The increase in prices are insane! I'm too lazy to make marinara from scratch. I'll stick with Rao's! It's the best!🍝
It’s tricky… some items are constantly changing prices. 🙃🙃🙃 I’m up for the challenge, though! 😊 Ps: why does it seem like the UK has all the good stuff???
The reason why dragon fruit in USA is always bland is because they are harvested young so that they wont go mushy when exported. When you taste dragon fruit in Vietnam (one of the biggest exporter of dragon fruit), they taste amazing, especially the red centered one.
I’m at the food part of the Monthly haul, yay 😊❤️ I would definitely pick the butterfly sprinkles for me too. I love the creamy peanut butter, it’s so good. 🥰I never tried the Reese iced coffee but it sounds good. I can’t have anything with regular milk though now that I’m lactose intolerant which sucks. Do you know any good milks that are low on dairy or don’t have dairy that don’t taste that bad? I need some milk finding a good milk.
I put my fruit in jars this time. Blackberries, strawberries and blackberries. Do you clean them first and do you cut up the strawberries. I want to make sure I’m doing it right what else do you put in jars. I bought a case of Ball jars.
Ok I’ve got a question that has been on my mind. When you shop, you appear to only shop for a month. Your fridge and cupboards are sparse by the time the month ends. What do you have to fall back onto in the event that things shut down like in the pandemic, weather related issues, etc. do you have an emergency food stash?
Instead of buying chocolate chips here in the uk . I buy supermarkets value bars of chocolate and just chop them up. It may not be the perfect choc chip shape but it is so so much cheaper ! 😊
Those Chocolate stuffed marshmallows are really good! My 6yr old Loves them lol They're a little pricey for marshmallows though so just she and I share them as a treat lol We hide them from sometimes lol bc with 6kids someone doesn't always get the treat lol
Hi Meghan! Compare chocolate chip prices between Sam’s and Aldi. I use the Aldi chocolate chips all the time and there is little to no difference in taste.
fruits and vegetables are so expensive there...wow.. like I buy 2 pounds of cucumber or domatoe for about 1$ here in Turkey..and apples are even cheaper than that.
So funny because I was thinking how expensive because I only buy it when it is $1.99 a pound 😂 I am too cheap but I have lots stores close and that is the only thing I still get great prices on.
@@NOVAFrugalFamily hahahah...it is amazing how times have changed. I live in a small town in Wyoming with one grocery store and our chicken is usually close to $5 a pound. The last time I bought chicken from Sam's Club I think it was $2.99 and I was excited for that price. I have a large prepper pantry that helps me try to fight inflation and I shop when I go out of town. I just filmed a fun video where I shopped the clearances at several stores on a road trip. It is definitely interesting to see what people's stock up prices are. This is why I love watching so many grocery hauls!!
So, it's just my husband and myself in our household. If you have 7 people and $100 per person, should I plan $100 per person in our house? I'm not sure we can do it.
I’m not sure. 🤔 It doesn’t seem easily doable. I’m trying the $700 a month more as a challenge. If I were you I would try to slowly reduce your monthly grocery bill by buying in bulk, comparing prices, shipping your cabinets and kitchen first, meal planning, and shopping multiple stores, if possible. $200 seems VERY tight to me, but I’m sure it could be done.
If my kids are not digging a fruit or veg that got I try to find a new fun way to peel/cut them or some "tiktok challenge" wink wink (I may have made some of these up myself) and have everyone try them. To atleast use the ones I have. hoping they will be re-introduced something I know they loved at one point.
do you know where those fish are sourced from? a lot in grocery stores now are from Indoneisa, argentina, china, asia. not from the USA. I'm from an area where we're lucky to have fresh fish, but I would not want any from that far away.

The cocktail cherries go in Old Fashions and Manhattans, but also in things like Shirley Temples or cherry Limeade.
