Happy grocery day! So glad we got to collab together again friend! ❤ oh and hello to dad!!
Thank you for collaborating with be Brady!! You got me started on Collabs! Maybe we should make this a yearly tradition! 😊
I absolutely love the both of you beautiful ladies but even more so when there's a Collab! Sending love & positive vibes from RI 🥰🤗
@@melodypeirce-oneill587 Thanks Melody!! ❤
@@Thegrocerylady Ofc You're very welcome!! 😊
I love the idea of a yearly tradition!! ❤
I lost my daddy in 2009 so I love watching you and your daddy shopping it makes me smile 😃
So glad to see you and your father together. I would do anything to shop with my dad again. Him having COPD it just isn't impossible. Just beyond grateful that my father is still around! Thank God for every minute I get with him
I'm sorry to hear your dad is dealing with COPD. That must be so tough. Like you, thankful our dads are around and we can spend time with them. ❤️
Can he drive the motorized shopping carts? My Dad and I shopped together that way after his open heart surgery.
Loving your shopping trips with your dad
glad your dad is with you.
I love how you do your grocery shopping
Really love these grocery haul videos. I’m from India and it allows me to understand the various differences in brands that are available for your guys and the ones that we get here on the shelves!
Keep up the awesome stuff! 😊
I love grocery hauls with your dad! You are so blessed to have one on one time with him! ❤
The months are flying by so fast march allready looking forward to your summer meal plans Meghan ❤
Spam in macaroni and cheese and in scrambled eggs!!!!!! Yummo
My daughter loves the kinders brand of seasoning, I haven’t tried it yet. She said it is really good. Love to watching your shopping with your Dad enjoy. 🥰❤️
Members mark dish soap works just like Dawn. I watched a video about a lady who worked upper management and said a lot of the name brand and store brand items are made with the same ingredients and manufactured at the same place. This goes for both Sam’s and Costco.
The frozen avocado's are just like fresh. I love them. You can make anything you use the fresh avocado for. I prefer to buy the frozen because our fresh one are normally bad.
Good to know! 😊😊
Really enjoying you and your dads company. Hope you get a lot of groceries for your money
Great haul! It is so nice to see your Dad. I became a subcsciber of Brady Browning when you collabrated with her last year. My oldest son loves Ramen and the Dr. Pepper and cream soda.
Fantastic!! Brady is amazing at getting deals and remembering all the prices! 😊
Hey 👋 how are you? Thank you for sharing your spreadsheet I was inspired to make a more in-depth shopping sheet and it really helps. The kids and I were in and out of the store in half the time for our once a month shopping.
Amazing!! Way to go!! That shopping list can be quite a beautiful thing.
We are a no chunk family too. I blend all our tomato products. We even enjoy blended salsa. Always fun to see a haul. Jake from State Farm… not Allstate. Yummy focaccia. Can’t wait for the recipe.
Tiny asparagus is way better than large. Less woody and taste better
Yes you said Cornish pasty right and you pronounce swede like sweed 👍🏻
A little recommendation to season the mix for the pasty well and cut the swede and potatoes thinly more disc like that cube like so they are soft enough, it can come up tasting bland and hard.
I love the butter chicken and was lucky enough to have it in India, Indian food is my favourite food.
Only found your channel a week or so ago and you’re in my top 5 favourite channels, I just love watching you and your great money saving tips 😍
Sending you love and blessings from a Lancashire lass who now lives in Cornwall UK 🇬🇧🙏🏻🤍🙏🏻
Thank you Amanda!! I'm so happy you found the channel! Welcome. Love that you live in Cornwall ❤️ What's your favorite Indian food? I'm hoping to try more Indian dishes... my next thing to make it naan bread... now a yummy meal to go with it.
Hope you have a great rest of your weekend!
@@Thegrocerylady hiya 👋🏻
I love chicken Tikka it’s my favourite, it was created in the uk by Indians and added to the menus here. Butter chicken is my favourite after going to India for work for a few weeks oh 10+ years ago now.
Jeera rice is also delicious, it’s basmati rice with cumin seeds added to it. Coconut rice or pilau rice is also nice, pilau rice is basmati rice with turmeric added for a yellow colour, but be careful as turmeric stains anything it touches 😁
Garlic naan is delicious and made thinly like the Indians do. The uk have made them thicker and bigger so they fill you up too much.
Thank you for replying and I hope you’re all having a great weekend 🙏🏻🤍🙏🏻
I buy those spam cans, originally from Hawaii where we consume a lot of spam, it's a necessity 😁. We make spam musubis, it's good in fried rice, or just fried with some rice and eggs 👌
I’m coming from Brady’s channel. She was on my. I saw a huge shopping haul and had to go check her out. I already was subscribed to you! LoL.
Great to see your Dad! So glad he moved around his busy schedule to join you! 😂🥰
Dad needs hairspray for his fly aways! 😂
You did great on your shopping as always!
Your eggs are a lot cheaper there than here in Florida. They're still so expensive!
Like in the 7-8 dollar range! 🤯🥚🐔
I'm a ramen fan too! I know it's high in sodium but I eat it in moderation. I eat it when I don't know what I want. 🍜
I love radishes with some salt on them. They can be spicy or down right hot when they're home grown!.
Ooo! Radishes with salt. Good thinking. I’ll try that. And I love Ramen in moderation too. It just tastes good!
I’ll make sure to let Dad know he needs his fly always tamed! 😂
Hey I buy that avocado. It’s a great deal for how much is in the bag. I’ve used it to make avocado mash and guacamole. Both were great!!
Good to know!! 😊
Awesome amazing applesauce video. Hi 👋 dad and 👋 Brady
Megan if you get fresh Fava beans you need to shell them blanch them enough to take off the outer shell then cook them again. Sincerely Debora Atkins
Thanks Debora 😊
@@Thegrocerylady Your welcome Megan, take care of yourself sincerely Debora Atkins
Hi Dad!!!
My son's teacher and I had a conversation once about 'breakfast' food and who decided what was appropriate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. People all the time talk about having breakfast for dinner. Maybe ravioli and ramen were really supposed to be breakfast 🙃
Frozen avocados make good guac. I had to freeze a fresh one because my daughter decided to poke it, and didn't need guac that day. I love bacon wrapped aspargus, and love them when they're small. Cauliflower steaks are amazing with oil, garlic and parmesan. If you can ever find Hills Bacon, get it, so good and from Oregon.
Love this
The Betty Crocker Muffin Tops are delicious. I bought on a whim because they were on sale at my Meijer. Winner!
I've VERY tempted to try them the next time. We love blueberry muffins. Muffin tops would be fun!
Have you decided on a Korean dish to prepare ? Interested on seeing what choice you make . Looking forward to watching 👀
Hi Meaghan, in NZ, and probably the UK, we call rudebagas SWEDES , LOL. in Scotland they call them Neeps!
I read that if you pair the dragon fruit with pineapple it tastes so good
Love your groceries haul ❤
Butter is over 5$/pound up here in Canada!
Great haul!!! I don’t know what is going on with broccoli where I live…it’s been $4/lb lately and one week it was $4.50/lb! 😮
I'm subscribed to both you and Brady love you both 💞
Yay!! 😊❤️
I personally don't like the pink dragonfruit because I agree with you that it has no flavor. The yellow one, though is sweet and I really like it!
I need to give it a try!!
Do you ever fix smoked sausage?
When you did the chicken cordon bleu you should have did a chicken gravy I didn't know if your recipe with that gravy
I've never seen it with chicken gravy. Interesting. I'll have to look into it. 😊
Hello, new subscriber here from Alabama 🙂
Hello Felecia! So happy you’re here!! 😊
I don’t enjoy fresh produce from aldi unless I need it that day or the next day.
Our Aldi's produce is getting better and better. There are still times when it's not great, but more times when it's really good.
Your dynamics with you and your dad are so nice, your always smiling and positive around each other. Wish I had that again. Take care!
Hugs to you. ❤️
I wish our Sam’s sold the big bags of milk chocolate chips! I like to do a mix of milk and semisweet in my cookies. I can’t even order them online! All I can get is semisweet.
So weird. I’ve never done a mixture of the two. 🤔
@@Thegrocerylady It is SO GOOD!! I do half and half! They’re always a hit!!
Hey ❤❤
Hello Maghans dad
Hi we in the UK call them swede pronounced sweed or turnip
hey! what do you do with all the meijer plastic bags?
I use them for dirty diapers, bathroom trashed, or to clean out the kitty box. If they start to overflow I take them to the store to recycle.
Spam is good, just fry it up
The members mark dish soap was awful. It took twice as much and didn’t get rid of grease😪
Hiccups 😆 🤣 😂
Oh, wait! I'm watching on my TV but commenting on my phone...wrong video! 😆 🤣 😂
😂😂
The coke has a Coconut flavor I think
💚💚💚💚💚
Hello there 😊
Hello!
Love watching you and your dad. His knowledge is great
Swede in UK is pronounced Sweed - easy way is to remember is sounds the same as Sweden 🇸🇪
Thank you! So helpful! 😊
❤️❤️
In the uk it’s called swede or turnip xx😜 swede is pronounced as if it was someone from sweden xx
That makes sense! Thanks Marie!
Im friends with you both already lol
❤🎉
❤🌼❤🌼❤🌼❤
Dragon fruit no matter what color it is has basically no flavor
No clue what new coke is... 😕 😐
Me either… a few people have said it’s not great. 🙃
It's pronounced sweed
Thanks Lisa!! 😊
@@Thegrocerylady you're welcome xx
Tiny asparagus is so tender and yummy!
Good to know. I didn’t realize the tiny asparagus was good! I’ve never seen it before.
Asparagus is better when it’s smaller around. As it gets thicker, it isn’t as tender and gets more woody and inedible.
I need to try the smaller rounder asparagus. I had no idea is was so good. I've never seen it before.
In complete agreement! Have been grocery shopping for family since ‘67 and I always look the the thinest stalks of asparagus! Tender, better tasting! Try it MEghan you won’t be sorry!
I too buy the Memebers Mark diswashing liquid. I find it even better then the Dawn Ultra, which has a weird smell to me.
Oh and I totally love those salad kits! My Sam’s club didn’t have the blood Orange but I want to try it! Looks so yummy!
It might be one of my favorites! The Asian salad kit is a close 2nd.
Hi Dad ❤
It’s a Swede in Australia as well. I think they taste horrible.
I love seeing your dad shop with you!! He is so sweet!!! Love your shopping videos!!!
P.S. Don’t buy the new Coke flavors!!!
Thanks Janet. ❤️
Love watching your videos. Just FYI, Jake works for State Farm, just like I do, lol. Love your sense of humor by the way.
Jake and Pam from State Farm!! 😂😊
The Coke Move is thumbs down.
Lots of things I would like to give a try at Sam's and Costco but being only 2 of us I don't want to buy big package just to try. I have looked at the dish detergent that's equivalent to Dawn, look forward to your review on it. I always enjoy your trips with your Dad. Blessings to you, Dad, and Family.
Darlene, we need to have Sam's Club and Costco give a survery of what items we want to try for their sample carts!!
@@Thegrocerylady wonderful idea!
I just converted prices, and in Iceland chicken breast is $5 a pound :P
and our parmesan is 5,98 per half a pound .. or even 200gr
mahi mahi, though we don't have that here the fish price is actually the same for you and for us, or about
Amazing how different and similar prices can be all over the US and world. incredible.
When Pappa's here, I'm here!!😀
Dad is back ¡!!!!!!
😊😊😊
Hello from Germany....I like to watch your Videos..I used to live in the States a long time ago..its very interesting and calm to watch you shop with your dad and go for the sales..Corinna
I love spam

Love seeing you with your dad ..love how he makes sure everything he picks up is just right ..for you …good job Dad! Always a pleasure to watch ❤
I love your grocery hauls. When your Dad joins you your hauls are extra special.
Have a great week!!
Thanks Frances! Always happy to have him with me. 😊
Your dad is so sweet. I just love him. I love seeing him every month. Have a great week Megan.
Thanks Carol! So glad he’s willing to shop with me! ❤️😊
Hooray, Dad is there with you! Love going shopping with you. Your dad is so much fun.
❤️😊
I think the members mark dish soap doesn’t work as well and it smells weird to me. I’d much rather have the dawn imo. But we put ours in a spray bottle filled 1/4 with Dawn and the rest with water and it still works just as well and it stretches a lot more
Oh no... I hope it works on. I've have a few people say they didn't prefer it. 😬
Pasta making most are with semolina and hard red wheat. Check your Italian, Portugal, spain, and even chinese bread makers recipes. All seem to be different quantities and drying decisions. That's why Barilla doesn't go soggy and store brands do.
Ps the croissant toast is equivalent to toaster strudel just fill it with jelly and cream cheese, or nutella. Top it with a smudge of wipped cream, frosting or a firm yogurt flavor like Greek. Or just fill it with fully cooked breakfast fillings, top with cheese or a full asian meal fully cooked up mix of hamburger or cooked ground pork and spices, tiny bits of Asian cabbage, carrot, green onion,
sesame oil, fresh ginger and you got a big korean egg roll. Don't be afraid to cut a slit in it and fill.
Kathy! I used semolia for my pasta last time, but I made it with sourdough starter as well. Next time I'm going to try Semolina and water, but to see how it goes. It's fun to experiment and figure out what works. 😊. Love all the ideas for the croissant toast!! YUM!
Just a thought…why not get a rosemary plant-put it in a pot on your sunny porch. Often, it lasts through winter. Cheaper than buying it cut. Also, you can use the stems to thread meat or veg for grilling.
I’d have to figure out something where George (our doggy) couldn’t get to it. He’s a good dog, but can be silly sometimes. Definitely a good idea though.
I have tasted the avocado chunks I let them thaw out some and make guacamole with it or eat it just like that with a little salt and pepper
your dad has such an adorable personality. enjoy every minute.
He's the best!
Love your dad and you show
Thanks Susan!
Oooh, report back on the member’s mark brand of dish soap!!!
Definitely! 😊
You would be lucky to find Spam at Sam’s Club in Hawaii, it is GOLD lol
Someone was just telling me about the Spam Festival in HI... 😬
I love grocery shopping one a month and then go mid month for fresh veggies, milk and eggs (if I need them). I also love watching other that do the same. And get great ideas
It’s a very helpful way to shop!! Glad to hear you do it too!
We are not very exotic with our fish. Just haddock, codfish, plaice and pollock; that's about it. Oh, I live in the EU. Maybe tastes are different where fish is concerned around the world. But these are pretty obtainable for us.
Yes yellow dragon fruit is much tastier. The first dragon fruit I bought was yellow and it was so good. The next week they only had the pink so I got one. Much prettier looking than the yellow but absolutely no flavor.
Also make sure the dragon fruit is ripe enough. Think of them like you would a banana - a still partially green banana is technically ripe but is quite bland/less sweet. The same goes for dragon fruit. You want the spines/tips to start to look a bit dry and shriveled but with the skin still smooth and mostly firm (not squishy). The do continue ripen in the fridge so if you buy some that still have more green tips you just have to wait a bit for them to reach ideal sweetness. I prefer the yellow skinned version as well.
I do 5 evened out scoops of ground coffee (if that helps you out) on a pot of 1.2L. It's a nice "americano" that way. ;) I am also under the recommended amount on the package, but... what can I say, they wanna sell coffee, right? ;)
I love your grocery hauls videos with your dad, you both are so fun together! Thank you for sharing this with us :) Have a lovely weekend!
Thanks Debbie!! Have a lovely weekend as well!
Me too! I wish I still had this chance. 😭
The sam's dish liquid is so-so. It'll do in a pinch but it's not dawn. Spam is good on sandwiches, right out of the can. You can di e it and cook it with eggs, make masubi, slice it and bake in oven with some BBQ sauce. Spam is yummy. The spanakopita is yummy.
I'm in the UK what a big disappointment Hershey's chocolate is after hearing so much about it on my trip to the US I purchased this famous candy bar. YUK YUK Love the names you have Rutabaga is what we call a Swede, green onion is called spring onion
Its a swede pronounced "sweed" we normally boil it with carrots and mash them together scrummy yumminess
I see you! I see you shopping smartly (the Brie) getting the best date. Yahoo. ;) :p
I love you both !!!! The Aldi nutter butter cookies are good !!! I bought some today !!! My picky husband even likes them ! 😁
