Yes you said Cornish pasty right and you pronounce swede like sweed 👍🏻
A little recommendation to season the mix for the pasty well and cut the swede and potatoes thinly more disc like that cube like so they are soft enough, it can come up tasting bland and hard.
I love the butter chicken and was lucky enough to have it in India, Indian food is my favourite food.

      @@Thegrocerylady hiya 👋🏻
I love chicken Tikka it’s my favourite, it was created in the uk by Indians and added to the menus here. Butter chicken is my favourite after going to India for work for a few weeks oh 10+ years ago now.
Jeera rice is also delicious, it’s basmati rice with cumin seeds added to it. Coconut rice or pilau rice is also nice, pilau rice is basmati rice with turmeric added for a yellow colour, but be careful as turmeric stains anything it touches 😁
Garlic naan is delicious and made thinly like the Indians do. The uk have made them thicker and bigger so they fill you up too much.
Thank you for replying and I hope you’re all having a great weekend 🙏🏻🤍🙏🏻

You did great on your shopping as always!
Your eggs are a lot cheaper there than here in Florida. They're still so expensive!
Like in the 7-8 dollar range! 🤯🥚🐔
I'm a ramen fan too! I know it's high in sodium but I eat it in moderation. I eat it when I don't know what I want. 🍜
I love radishes with some salt on them. They can be spicy or down right hot when they're home grown!.

Pasta making most are with semolina and hard red wheat. Check your Italian, Portugal, spain, and even chinese bread makers recipes. All seem to be different quantities and drying decisions. That's why Barilla doesn't go soggy and store brands do.
Ps the croissant toast is equivalent to toaster strudel just fill it with jelly and cream cheese, or nutella. Top it with a smudge of wipped cream, frosting or a firm yogurt flavor like Greek. Or just fill it with fully cooked breakfast fillings, top with cheese or a full asian meal fully cooked up mix of hamburger or cooked ground pork and spices, tiny bits of Asian cabbage, carrot, green onion,
sesame oil, fresh ginger and you got a big korean egg roll. Don't be afraid to cut a slit in it and fill.

Kathy! I used semolia for my pasta last time, but I made it with sourdough starter as well. Next time I'm going to try Semolina and water, but to see how it goes. It's fun to experiment and figure out what works. 😊. Love all the ideas for the croissant toast!! YUM!

Just a thought…why not get a rosemary plant-put it in a pot on your sunny porch. Often, it lasts through winter. Cheaper than buying it cut. Also, you can use the stems to thread meat or veg for grilling.

I’d have to figure out something where George (our doggy) couldn’t get to it. He’s a good dog, but can be silly sometimes. Definitely a good idea though.

We are not very exotic with our fish. Just haddock, codfish, plaice and pollock; that's about it. Oh, I live in the EU. Maybe tastes are different where fish is concerned around the world. But these are pretty obtainable for us.

Yes yellow dragon fruit is much tastier. The first dragon fruit I bought was yellow and it was so good. The next week they only had the pink so I got one. Much prettier looking than the yellow but absolutely no flavor.

Also make sure the dragon fruit is ripe enough. Think of them like you would a banana - a still partially green banana is technically ripe but is quite bland/less sweet. The same goes for dragon fruit. You want the spines/tips to start to look a bit dry and shriveled but with the skin still smooth and mostly firm (not squishy). The do continue ripen in the fridge so if you buy some that still have more green tips you just have to wait a bit for them to reach ideal sweetness. I prefer the yellow skinned version as well.

I do 5 evened out scoops of ground coffee (if that helps you out) on a pot of 1.2L. It's a nice "americano" that way. ;) I am also under the recommended amount on the package, but... what can I say, they wanna sell coffee, right? ;)

The sam's dish liquid is so-so. It'll do in a pinch but it's not dawn. Spam is good on sandwiches, right out of the can. You can di e it and cook it with eggs, make masubi, slice it and bake in oven with some BBQ sauce. Spam is yummy. The spanakopita is yummy.
