Wow what a vast selection of breakfast foods, all beautifully presented and looking clean and fresh. Very impressive. I would be leaping out of bed in the mornings! I think perhaps the sausages are sliced in order to let you see the inside of them re. type of meat. Great vlog! xx

Hotel looks great, but the food layout is a little to posh for my liking tbh.
Stayed in Hotel sol Magaluf Park (now hotel Katmandu park) and the food in there was spot on, no sausages cut in half either.
i'd love to return one day but now my favorite hotel is a family hotel (alas mine was taken away from me) so I would need a sol hotel for an enforced singleton, would love to drive there and back as well (not in a Porsche milk float)

What I don’t understand with all that sun why the don’t have black panels with water pumped through it soul raise the pool water temperature and entice more people to use it and enable them to open a roof top bar.

There’s a Sky Pool at Embassy Gardens in London 35 metres up, caused a lot of controversy as it’s part of a very expensive apartment complex and is only open to residents, it spans two blocks with a road below so it’s sort of sticking 2’s up to the people that can’t afford £10m for a property 👍

I shouldn't laugh but 😂😂😂 I feel the pain, mate. Did this myself last April when my kids jumped in the pool and I got in after them in spain. It was painful and that wasn't even a rooftop pool! Definitely earned a thumbs up Lee 👍

Stayed at the Sol Barbados with my parents and family years ago for my first trip to Majorca and Magaluf which is just downhillfrom where you stayed. Tried to book the train to Soller but was fully booked that day so drove there instead. Ended up that day driving almost half way round the perimeter of the island. Been back 3 times since.
Meant uphill. Also it used to be called the Sol Antilles which was the sister hotel to our hotel. Don't remember that pool though. Is it new?
Go back...the Soller train journey is unforgettable. It's a lovely place, too.👍
I think I'm right in saying the brilliant Sol hotel chain is now Melia. I stayed with my parents when I was young, a very long time ago in Can' Pastilla. Sol Hotel Alexandria. In those days All Inclusive wasn't a thing. But what a hotel that used to be. We had fashion nights, pretty woman, catwalk and all. It's was half board then. The food was sublime and the service exceptional. With the tiny sandy inlet, I really didn't want to leave after 2 weeks. Happy days ☺️

Is it just me or would that pool be a dream? Love heights and it would be great to see everyone underneath! And I love icy cool pools, doesn’t everyone? Surely that’s what pushes to swim and you perform better.
Breakfast selection was brilliant 😊pools a bit grubby on the beams won’t take long for them to rust away
