I'm someone who often has the bad habit of impulse buying .. and then reading all the reviews after the fact. So far I've done ok though. My Atom arrives tomorrow! It was a choice between a Hover Air x1, a DJI Mini 3, or the Atom. It's really nice to see all the positive reviews on YT. I plan to use mine for e-bike MTB rides, hiking/camping/fishing, family gatherings, all kinds of projects. I got the fly more package which includes fast charger with 3 batteries, a nice carry case, some extra propellers, and a 64gb SD card.

Great range compared to what? My 7 year old MINI2 has nearly twice the range and is only limited due to battery life. I can go out 3.5 miles and STILL have 100% video/controller reception. These guys have a long way to go before they even get close to being a DJI .Mini...

I Have 6 DJI drones, & a Autel Evo Lite Plus. I just ordered the Potesic Atom 3 axis gimbal version, to have another drone without Geofencing. I bought a new open box, fly more combo for $260 shipped from ebay. This is going to be my beater drone lol.

Thanks for the video i picked one up even though i have a dji. The main reason is I've been on vacation a number of times and the GEOFENCING prevented me from flying in places where drones are allowed or i have to ask for permission that never comes. With this i fly where i want when i want"as long as it's allowed" so i take this on vacation now i love it.

Yeah, it's a little misleading to say 6km, but it's still correct, however. It does have a 6km range, but you obviously need to get it back unless you want to lose your drone. So effectively a 3km range.
Got the drone as the 3 battery combo in b grade condition for 230€ cant wait for it😊

Basic color grading is definitely possible. The camera is pretty good on this drone. Thanks for watching

nice flight along lakeside!!! the batteries for the SE are compatible with the Atom but they do put u over the 250g mark by quite a bit, the app pops a warning. - its own batteries give a very good time in the air too - 😀😀😀both fly so well - if u like flying then potensic are a no-brainer!! Atom and Atom SE - i think the Atom flies best - and its got a 3 axis gimbal.

Is the only differences between the Atom and SE the range and camera?
atom is heavier so uses a lighter battery to stay below 250g flying characteristics are different and the atom has more advanced app@@rodedelheit1914

I got one just recently and this little drone is amazing! max I have done is a mile cause I am afraid that is battery is too low it will just crash. Will it return home when battery is getting low or if it looses connection with remote?

It you add a TOZO Antenna Signal Range Booster Parabolic, you won't have an issue. Comes down to battery life. :)

Thanks for pointing out the battery status location. A shame it's so hard to read. Nice test. 2,000 yards looks very dependable.
Since it isn't wifi, you could try putting your phone in airplane mode then turn on location if necessary.

Thinking of buying this drone - max range is always going to be clear of obstructions - any tests of range through foliage? Would like to use for wildlife spotting.
It's a great drone but there's no obstacle avoidance, so be careful around trees
Solid range test. Any issues with needed phone App? Also, App commenter mentioned it won't fly at night after latest App update. Could you possibly verify that this will fly at night...Thx man.

I tested mine in a dim location and it wouldn't take off. Maybe somewhere in settings can overcome that, I don't know.
To be fair thats a great Distance i have the fimi mini v2 and the Hubsan mini se refined and i don't think they would beat that Distance.

The range is better than the Se? I thought maybe the same except the difference would be the 3 axis gimble...is the battery the same?
It's a different battery than the SE but it fits, simular flight time too
The range is 1 Kilometre longer than the SE
I think it uses a different control signal with more range.
Is the only differences between the Atom SE and Atom, the range and camera?
And the 3 axis Gimbal. This one is definitely better

I get mine to take pics or vids. I have the SD card in, it makes the camera sound but no pictures or videos recorded. What am I doing wrong?
The biggest thing you did wrong is not buying a DJI Mini 3.
Yeah but with the money you saved you can take the Mrs out for lunch to keep her sweet & buy a spare batteries or maybe 2 😅
Check it's formatted correctly. Make sure it's 8gb or over. Try another make of card, if that fails make sure settings are correct for the camera /video. Get more help 😊
