Exactly! This is what most ppl who claim AI will replace copywriters don't understand. As a copywriter, this is the best time to upskill. I'm currently learning prompt engineering and klaviyo email marketing.
@@aces8481 Just stay away from copywriting bro. Spread the word as well to keep new comers away. With AI, businesses may no longer need many copywriters like before, but if there's no competition in the first place, then there's nothing for us to worry about.
Really good video. On reddit the other day I was explaining to someone why $150 for 600 words was pretty reasonable for just the reasons you indicate. She was all about fee per word. My cat writes words occasionally but I wouldn't rely on them making even $5 value copywriting ...
AI might do the majority of the grunt work, but companies will still need writers to steer, make sense of and ensure that the copy is actually what is needed and correct. TLDR ChatGPT doesn’t know whether it is right or wrong. It is just a very good mimic. However there may well be fewer copywriters and a lot of copy editors. Don’t try to resist change - you will never win. Just try to find a way to grow with it and look for ways to prove to clients why they will always need more than just AI. The human factor will always win out.
Reason 1: Recently an AI was programmed to have a phone call with another person as a claiming to be a Call Centre Agent from Tesla Motors. The customer had no idea they were talking to a robot, it did sound a bit jank but it was convincing enough that the AI was able to convince the customer to set up a meeting about a potential purchase. He said the Agent came across as "Nice and friendly"
That’s awesome! This one should be able to get you to the point of getting paid jobs if you follow it with serious intention. ua-cam.com/video/Pum2gV7N_9A/v-deo.htmlsi=7hWPieGbeQzzqUoA
Hey there! I totally agree with you - having good writing skills can really make a difference in the quality of your copy. And with the help of AI, you can save a lot of time and effort in creating great content. However, I do think that writers are still necessary, at least for now. That's because while AI can generate text quickly, it still needs the right prompts and guidance to create good copy. Without that, the AI-generated content can turn out pretty terrible. So, while AI is definitely a great tool to have in your writing arsenal, it's not a substitute for good old-fashioned writing skills just yet. But who knows - with advancements in technology and AI, that could change in the future.
I've just started a course pertaining to copywriting however the introduction of chatgpt worries me, but I suppose that copywriters can use AI to enhance their copywriting quality. Also I'm sure that most people would trust a human more than AI. Would you rather get in a Taxi without a driver (AI controlled) or a taxi with a human driver? It will likely take many years for AI to completely take over, however I'm ignorant and just getting started when it comes to copywriting, would really appreciate some feedback and assurance that I should proceed with my copywriting journey 💛
from my point of view when chatGPT 4 will be published it will be really hard for copywriters. because even 3rd version can use emojis, motivational speech and so on.
Except, copywriting is more than just emojis or motivational speeches. This is the reason why actual copywriters including me are not threatened since most ppl really doesn't understand what copywriting is.
In fiverr inbox, if i was contacted by a potential buyer that has not ordered from me before but after some back and forth, I decided I don’t want to work with them as communication is difficult because of bad english or I feel like they are going to be a demanding and difficult buyer. So tell them that I don’t think I can help them and block them. Is that okay?
A company that can spend either £500 on a copywriter for a professionally written social media campaign or £0 for a slightly janky but easy to fix internally written social media campaign. Which will they choose do you think?
Reason 2: Sure, right now. But it's woefully short sighted to think it won't overcome this in the next 3 to 5 years given the current rate of advancement.
Definitely agree with this video, but what do you think of using Ai for copy just to get some sort of good idea, like using Ai as your helpful partner instead of your enemy 🤔
My problem with this is that if I give ChatGPT a brief to get ideas, I can't then unsee it. What it writes is invariably plausible but also not very good and seeing it makes it harder to innovate my own copy. I tried using it for research once or twice, but it's very inaccurate.
Look - I know is very hard to accept, but AI is replacing ALL of you guys. I'm sorry. And I hate to break it down to you, but that's how it is. The sooner you notice this the better. I know AI can't take over like that. People steering away from copywriting is making the field less competitive. That's the best part.

This isn’t that remarkable to me tbh, when you’re calling for a specific thing you can pre program responses based on common questions/objections
