Know this isn't a recent video, but just watched it. I lived in my daughter and her husband's home for a little over a year. They moved to Florida and had to go sooner for their jobs. When the house sold, I was really sad to leave it. I cried big tears. I hope you continue to be happy in Florida. I am now also in Florida. Thank you for sharing your life with us. 💕🌺
Crock pot Fiesta Chicken: chicken, jar of salsa, can of rinsed black beans, can of corn. In the last hour of cooking time add an 8 oz cream cheese. Place on top of steamed white rice.
I had a weird attachment to our first home and I realized that it was due to my babies coming home that house. So many memories made in that house. Now several years after the move it seems so insignificant and there are endless new memories and blessings as we have moved onto living our dreams out in the new space with our kiddos. Blessings as you transition!
Your house is so pretty! We’ve moved so many times and each time I feel sad to leave our house. We women especially I feel, put so much love into our homes, they just become a part of us. I know you’re excited to move to Florida and I pray the transition is a smooth one. Looking forward to more updates!
I recently discovered cooking a roast with carrots and potatoes in the oven either overnight or all day at a low temp (like 225). So little work but is sooooo amazing, house smells wonderful, and leftovers can be transformed into stew so easy, or shredded roast beef sandwiches. Yuuuuuummm 😀
Chicken parmesan is always a hit in my family with mashed potatoes & a side salad if i have time... You are so sweet to share those gift cards with others. You could've used them for yourself. You are a very good example Lynette! May God bless you and your family!
My Go to meal is Italian Chicken. Easy Get some chicken and an oven proof pan pour on some ready made Italian dressing enough to coat the bottom and place in oven at 300 degrees till cooked through. Sides are what ever you have veggie, starch and go. I also do this with other dressings.
my favorite is , Hamburger casserole, Brown one l lb, of hamburger, while that is cooking in your baking dish, put one can of mushroom soup, one can french onion soup, mix well add one can of minute rice, stir, then add cooked meat, top with cheddar, or what ever cheese you have . Bake 375 for 45 minutes, stop once half way through and stir , then top with cheese and finish cooking until cheese is bubbly. and light brown. I serve this with green beans and mash potatoes.
My go to if I haven’t planned ahead of time is typically some kind of chicken stir fry. I just cut some chicken breast into a little bit bigger than bite size chunks and add in whatever kind of marinade I have on hand (teriyaki is the best but I’ve used bbq and other marinades), add in some frozen or fresh veggies and then either cook up some rice or mashed potatoes. I really like it because you can tailor it to what you have on hand and it usually always tastes great without taking much time!
Yes, I believe you are right as far as the pending goes !! You are so lucky to have your dad handling this business for you !!! That must make you feel so much more at ease !! Praying for all !!!
My go to is chicken pot pie, many easy breezy ways to make and still delish. 1 cup of cooked chicken ( I have used canned, rotisserie, cooked a couple of chicken breast, and have used leftover baked as well as fried chicken), veggies ( canned mixed veggies, or leftover veggies that have been frozen until I have about 2 cups, or frozen mixed veggies), a can of cream of celery, chicken or mushroom soup, mix the above together in a 13 x 9 casserole dish. Top with a rolled pie dough or with biscuits (frozen or canned) or my favorite is 1,2,3 topping ( 1 cup self rising flour, 1 cup buttermilk, 1 stick of butter, melted, mix until smooth and spoon on to chicken mixture in casserole dish). I add chopped onion if I use mushroom soup, but it's really flexible and forgiving recipe. Make a little healthier with using mainly green beans and carrots for veggies.
You were in FL when I found your channel. I suppose I’m backtracking, but enjoying it just as much, if not more! The first video I found was when you were back for your sister’s wedding. Not only was the wedding beautiful, but I got my first glimpse of Holmes County! We live in the Columbus area and my daughter and her husband often spend a weekend there once a year, relaxing, shopping and enjoying delicious food. We also love Florida! My husband and I have spent winters there, but health issues prevented that this year. I’m glad you are enjoying living there now! I’m sure you are doing well in your new business in FL!
I think as a busy mom, some of my favorite recipes I can make in a crockpot or an instant pot. I like to make Asian style Beef and Broccoli in the instant pot and then make a side of rice to go with it. The liquid left over in the instant pot, you put a little corn starch slurry in to thicken as a sauce. It is super yummy and easy.
I hate deciding what to make every week too. So much so that we have the exact same meal 3 nights a week due to our busy schedules (one night is sandwiches, one night is a huge salad with chicken, and one is pizza). It works for us and gives me 3 meals I don't have to think about.
My hubby and I LOVE spaghetti squash boats...cook the spaghetti squash and then top with cooked ground turkey, black beans, corn, onions, bell peppers, salsa, cheese...pop back into the oven for a few mins and it is healthy and delicious!!!!
Yes, the letting go and letting in is so hard with homes! I understand! Yet, remember, you are the only ones who get to take the memories with you. Breath and Peace.
I guess my go to meal is a salad. As a piano teacher, most nights I don’t finish until late and dinner can be 8:30/9:00pm! Lynnette, I just wanted to share with you that your fall decorating really inspired me to decorate this fall with white pumpkins and dried flowers! I love it. Your house is beautiful- you’ve really staged it perfectly!
My chili is a staple in our house. Quick, easy and can make in the crockpot. My husband is a football coach and he loves coming home from games late at night to a crockpot with warm chili or taco soup.
Great video!! A couple of staple meals in our house are Meatloaf with Mashed potatoes and sauteed kale or Chicken soup with spinach, carrots, potatoes, celery and garlic.
My go to quick meal in a pinch is ziti! I can make it in half an hour and can always make extra to freeze for another day. I also enjoy one pan meals, now that the colder weather is around i prefer to make them in the over. I divide my sheet pan in 3, one part for veggies of your choice (i like Brussels sprouts or cauliflower) in the middle meat of choice (i usually use chicken or salmon) and on the last section cubed red potatoes. Season with whatever you like and it’s a delish healthy meal in 30 minutes.
Easiest meal- and I always have an empty crockpot when I come home from potlucks! I take 2 large packages of smoked sausage ( I use Hillshire farms) and cook the sausage ( I cut in slices to about 1/2 inch) on high in the crockpot. The juices from the sausage can be drained a bit after a couple of hours. I then take either a 15 oz or 30 oz can of sauerkraut- and continue to cook on high. The meal is done when the meat is fork tender And the sauerkraut is cooked down- total crock pot time is less than 4 hours ☺️
Closets are definitely one of the things buyers looks at, everyone is always looking for storage! Your home is so warm and inviting it will sell in a heartbeat!! As far as go to meals we are huge chicken eaters and my favorite is Chicken & Rice, it's so easy to make and it great for leftovers.
Your home is gorgeous!! I'm so happy for you all to start a new chapter in your lives.God will guide and direct your path. I love to cook and bake but with a busy lifestyle this would certainly come in handy. Sometimes I rack my brain to figure out what to cook next. I have my 5 go to meals. Mondays are different styles of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans. Tuesday is salmon patties and peas. Wednesday is homemade soup and salad. Thursday is beef stroganoff and a jello salad. Friday is hamburger patties, homemade fries and salad. Saturday is leftover buffet. Sunday either pot roast or I fry chicken. Have a blessed day!!
I think spaghetti with salad and some breadsticks is always a quick and filing meal. Same with a roast and potatoes. Just season and pop in the oven! Your home looks wonderful. I think you did a great job with the staging. I'm excited to see what you'll come up with in your new home!
Counter offer if you're not satisfied with the buyers offer. The house looks perfectly staged. Very clean. Great job. Praying a smooth transition. You'll love Florida!!! 82 degrees at 8am.😉😊
am in Florida right now for a week because it never stops raining in Pennsylvania, lol. It's been so sunny and gorgeous every day! I knew you'd be getting offers quickly, prayers for a smooth transaction. Don't know how you priced your house but in my experience with selling homes i would probably only accept a full price offer so early in the process. Will be curious to see if you counter them if they'll come up :)
Your home was already so lovely I don't even think staging was necessary but you are such a wonderful homemaker and it is your home, just relax sweetie, everything will work out for you, God bless!!
You did an amazing job with the staging. I just came back from house shopping in Texas and looked at over 30 places. IT's amazing what a difference it makes. Cluttered homes are very claustrophobic. Beautiful.
Homemade mac n cheese is my go-to. I can add ham, ground beef, or bacon and really have fun with it. I like changing the cheeses, too. Another good one is I make a batch of pizza dough and just stuff it with goodies like ham and Swiss with a mayo and spicy brown mustard, or ground beef, pizza cheese, and broccoli, served with sauce.
Favorite meal idea is definitely chicken Florentine. Can’t say enough about how yummy and easy it is!!! You can make a lot very quickly and even give the extras to a friend or freeze!
One of our favorite meals is chicken drumsticks with veggies. It all cooks on one sheet pan so it’s super easy. And you can do any kind of chicken (barbecue, Cajun seasoned, lemon pepper, etc.) and any veggie on the side! Potatoes, sweet potatoes, asparagus, carrots, broccoli, squash... really you could do so many different combinations. I make it all the time-all different flavors and combinations & it never gets old! ☺️
one of my favorites is a new recipe that I got in Walnut Creek and it is called creamy chicken spaghetti casserole. It uses jarred alfredo sauce and it is delicious. Also, in the fall winter I love my homemade vegetable soup and chili. In the summer I like taco salads and the like. so happy for you all. God Bless You
One of my favorite meals to make is chicken fajitas. Sauteed or grilled seasoned chicken and veggies over rice, on baked potatoes, or on sub buns topped with melted white American cheese in milk for a thin cheese sauce.
My family’s favorite and a weekly go to meal in our house is some version of tacos. Sometime we do traditional, sometimes it’s just chips on a plate with the meat and toppings on them or I’ll make taco salads and mix salsa and ranch together for the dressing.
You got this, & I know that most people would be happy to own such a nice home!! Your home is beautiful so I have no doubt that you will have no problem finding a buyer!! :D My favorite type of meals are in the crock pot.....so easy & the house always smells AMAZING!!!
My fav especially this time of year is homemade hamburger veggie soup. I do it on top of the stove but you could do it in a crock pot if you needed or wanted to. I just wing it most of the time but Ive pinned several recipes of it from pinterest. Easy and so good. Add a pan of southern corn bread and a glass of sweet tea. As with most soups it makes a lot and we love leftovers! Your home looks lovely. You did a great job staging it!
Those smoothies containers look sturdy and reusable. Meal planning I don’t well. Looks good. Yes if I ever buy a house I would look in closets. The food looks wonderful.
Our favorite meal idea is ziti pasta with the pesto sauce from Costco (refrigerated section). It tastes like something from a restaurant! Really good with a ready made cesar salad (Costco has really good ones). Your home looks incredible as always! God bless you and your family!
I just got done making some stash freezer meals. With after school activities now started I don’t have as much time to make dinner. Meal prepping for me is key!
Some home Fries with grilled cutlets. For the home fries it's best to cook the potatoes the night before and after they cool down put them in the fridge until the next day. That way they cook quicker in the pan with the vegetables and they brown better too. I cook some onions cut into small chunks and green or yellow or both peppers, cut the same way , until lightly cook and soft in a small amount of oil. Then add the potatoes and cut the potatoes into small pieces let them cook along with the vegetables until the potatoes are slightly brown, stirring it all occasionally. Add some season salt or pepper to your liking. For the Chicken cutlets I season them with season salt and use a slight bit of oil over them and let the grill get hot and normally I spray the grill pan with some canola spray, and by the way I use canola oil on everything, but very little. Grill them (the cutlets) for 10 to 12 minutes on each side until you see grill marks. If you cook them to long they will get harder to chew. I sometimes add sour cream on the chicken but that's up too you. It is simple and fast. It helps me a lot because I come home late from work. So let me know how you like it. Enjoy.
Our favorite go to meal is beef stew. You make a basic beef cube and tomato juice stew base. Add frozen stew veggies, a few shakes of an Italian blend spice mixture, and a can of Italian diced tomatoes (or fresh diced tomatoes). Let that simmer for about and hour. It's delicious and my kids will even eat it along with soup crackers. On other days I use the crockpot mostly! You're house looks great! Prayers to you and your family on your exciting new journey!
My favorite quick go-to meal is taco soup! You can always change it up to make it a little different, & my boys love it! Always a plus when the kids will eat it with a smile 😁
My favorite is to have breakfast for dinner especially waffles or pancakes. I also really enjoy making chicken fried rice using riced cauliflower instead of rice. It is a great way to use up veggies that are starting to get old in the fridge!
One of my favorite meals to make is pizza! Another easy meal is tortillas, with taco meat, or with refried beans & scrambled eggs, or fajita chicken.... and all the fixings like lettuce, tomatoes, olives, cheese, sour cream, onions, salsa....
Your house looks phenomenal! You've actually given me the inspiration to paint and change my own house. My favorite fast recipe is tikka masala with basmati rice and naan. And the best part is my kids eat it and I can make it in under half hour.
My favorite meal is a romaine salad with sliced sautéd chicken, seasoned with lemon pepper and lots of sliced avocados. I use an oil and vinegar dressing made with a touch of sugar mixed in to cut the tart taste. I just bought a pear vinegar, so anxious to try that in salad. I cook for myself so simple meals work for me.
I'm so happy those meals came when they did. That was a real blessing to have all that convenience at that time and you got to share it too with your families, including youtube! Fun. Your place looks very comfortable and clean and relaxing, like an oasis for a family 'ready to move in'. I'll bet buyers are so excited to find a home option so well cared for! My meal option tonight is lasagna I'll be making. It's pretty much a 1-pot meal for us. I'm tired of leftovers, so I've cut back on serving the 2 sides, sometimes it's just a main dish and I'll sneak all my veggies in there. We have 2 teens at home and we have trouble keeping them in the room for long after dinner, so we have begin playing a board game immediately after dinner. Yesterday we played Trouble. My husband won. It was a lot of fun! One teen got braces yesterday, so the distraction was good timing too. Have a Great Weekend! Also, the tonality of color of your home is soothing and right on trend! The video coloration was very nice with the mustard color sweater you had. I thought looked very, very nice. I wonder how shocked you'd be if you saw written the entire list of talent and gifts God's given you? Probably ; ) like your 1st house, it's hard to notice when it's just 'there' every day ; )
Hi Lynette, my go to quick meal is shepherd's pie, filling and so yummy, and freezes so good that if you double the recipe, you can freeze the extra one and have a quick meal for another night. 2 meals in one.
My favorite meals right now are Cracked Out Chicken Tatertot casserole found on Plain Chicken on Pinterest. And a family recipe called Chicken Rice Curry, which has shredded chicken, rice cream of mushroom soup, milk, water, Curry powder, salt, pepper. Both are super tasty and very filling and my picky kids love them.
Chicken Spaghetti - Ree Drummonds recipe. You can make two, and freeze one for later. That's always a big win. I don't cook my chicken like her recipe calls for, but I use a rotisserie chicken from Sams/Costco/Kroger. I pick the chicken and cook the noodles in chicken broth. makes it much quicker. You could (probably) get two casseroles out of one chicken.
You did an awesome job with staging it looks great. Yes I agree counter the offer if you're not happy about it. Our favorite meal is homemade potatoes salad fried chicken corn on the Cobb salad n homage buttermilk biscuits yummy. So excited for you n your family Lynn. God bless you n your family
We love chicken tikka masala an Indian dish! Aldi has the chicken tikka sauce... just mix with cooked chicken serve it with rice! I even saw Aldi has the wonderful Naan bread to eat with it!
I'd love to try it, so please enter me in your drawing! Meal idea? A yummy veggie baked ziti with Italian bread to dip in olive oil, basil, oregano, and pepper. Yum!
I like to grill chicken or beef it’s easy cleanup (no pots and pans to wash) throw some asparagus in the grill and a potato of some sort, there’s dinner..I love your videos , your home is beautiful. thank you Lynette
We love having chili with peanut butter sandwiches this time of year. :) Thanks for being generous! I hope everything goes smoothly for you all. Your home looks beautiful!
I like the subtle changes you made to make the house look bigger. Good luck in the selling process - it can be stressful. My favorite fall meals are any types of soup. My family loves chicken and white bean chili, zuppa toscana, vegetable beef, and Wisconsin beer cheese soup.
For dinner especially in the summertime I love making Seafood omelettes with shrimp and crab or Lobster with a white cheese of your choice such as provolone, mozzarella etc.. serve it with some sliced avocado and fresh sliced tomatoes on the side..delicious! And making the seafood simple. And are especially easy and great if you have a little bit of extra Seafood left over from a previous meal ..You can't get much handier than that. My fingers are crossed...I would love to try Home Chef..
Best of luck with everything - whoever buys your house is pretty lucky to be getting such a beautiful home!😊 one of our favorite meals is creamy potato soup & soft pretzels!
Easy weeknight meals for us include nachos with beans, onions, cheese, scallions baked. Takes 20 minutes! Serve with a nice chopped salad and its dinner. Thanks for the Home Chef giveaway!
Giveaway is closed as of Saturday, the 28th! Thank you all !!

My favorite go to meal in fall and winter is taco soup. Super easy crock pot meal.
Yes, the letting go and letting in is so hard with homes! I understand! Yet, remember, you are the only ones who get to take the memories with you. Breath and Peace.
I love a sheet pan supper. Porkchops, broccoli, and sweet potatoes. The best part is easy clean up.
An easy one for me is Tuna Melts w/ a cup of soup. I do put cheese on our Tuna Melts; and we enjoy this.
I guess my go to meal is a salad. As a piano teacher, most nights I don’t finish until late and dinner can be 8:30/9:00pm! Awesome!!!❤️
Something easy we like is Philly Steak wraps. We make them with wraps instead of breads makes a lighter meal.
One of my favorites is loaded baked potatoes. Easy to make and you can put pretty much anything on them.
My go to quick meal in a pinch is ziti! I can make it in half an hour and can always make extra to freeze for another day. I also enjoy one pan meals, now that the colder weather is around i prefer to make them in the over. Silvia Sousa great ideas! And I love one pan dishes- I just don’t always have the best success with them. But I should try some more!
Easiest meal- and I always have an empty crockpot when I come home from potlucks! I take 2 large packages of smoked sausage ( I use Hillshire farms) and cook the sausage ( I cut in slices to about 1/2 inch) on high in the crockpot. I think spaghetti with salad and some breadsticks is always a quick and filing meal. Same with a roast and potatoes. Just season and pop in the oven!
Your home looks wonderful. I think you did a great job with the staging. I'm excited to see what you'll come up with in your new home!
Favorite quick meal is a good old salad/soup combo.
Counter offer if you're not satisfied with the buyers offer.
The house looks perfectly staged. Very clean. Great job. Praying a smooth transition. You'll love Florida!!! 82 degrees at 8am.😉😊
Aracelis Escalona yes- we definitely took all things into consideration.. 😉 thanks
Perfect. God is in control. The Blessing is coming in his time. Praying😇
am in Florida right now for a week because it never stops raining in Pennsylvania, lol. It's been so sunny and gorgeous every day! I knew you'd be getting offers quickly, prayers for a smooth transaction. Don't know how you priced your house but in my experience with selling homes i would probably only accept a full price offer so early in the process. Egg roll in a bowl is my favorite!! Easy, quick and my picky hubby loves it
Your home was already so lovely I don't even think staging was necessary but you are such a wonderful homemaker and it is your home, just relax sweetie, everything will work out for you, God bless!!
I made white chicken chili yesterday in the crock pot. It was rainy cool day. I was feeling the fall vibe and soup just felt right!
I am a big fan of tacos. They are so quick to make and I can easily change the proteins and toppings to keep it interesting.
You did an amazing job with the staging. I just came back from house shopping in Texas and looked at over 30 places. IT's amazing what a difference it makes. Cluttered homes are very claustrophobic. Beautiful.
Our favorite fall meal lately has been homemade mac n cheese. Something about the warm, gooey cheese on a cold day is just so appealing!

The house is stunning Lynette! I would leave the closet doors open. It's beautiful like that!
Stuffed peppers are easy and quick if you have ground beef precooked.
One of our favorite meals is chicken drumsticks with veggies. It all cooks on one sheet pan so it’s super easy. Also, in the fall winter I love my homemade vegetable soup and chili. In the summer I like taco salads and the like. so happy for you all. God Bless You
Yum!!!
I always make chicken bundles out of Pillsbury crescent rolls, chicken, broccoli, and cream cheese. So simple and yummy!
I love your energy and enthusiasm! Your home will sell quickly. It's a showcase. Blessings and love to you!
One of my favorite meals to make is chicken fajitas. Sauteed or grilled seasoned chicken and veggies over rice, on baked potatoes, or on sub buns topped with melted white American cheese in milk for a thin cheese sauce.
Yummma for ma tummy!! 😋😋
My family’s favorite and a weekly go to meal in our house is some version of tacos. Sometime we do traditional, sometimes it’s just chips on a plate with the meat and toppings on them or I’ll make taco salads and mix salsa and ranch together for the dressing.
My favorite dinner - especially for Fall - is Chicken Tortilla soup. I make it with frozen corn and add tortilla chips and cheese on top.
Brown sugar glazed salmon looks fantastic! So excited for the changes going on for your family! Keeping you all in prayer!💜
We love chicken pot pie in the winter as well as sauerbraten!! In the summer there is nothing like a good burger!
Cheddar chicken chowder or chicken pot pie are two of my favorites for fall family meals! Seems like everyone loves them!
I have been wanting to try these. With my mom being sick my time is very short when it comes to dinner. The meal looked really good..
My favorite fall food is butternut squash soup. So yummy!
My favorite is to have breakfast for dinner especially waffles or pancakes. I also really enjoy making chicken fried rice using riced cauliflower instead of rice. It is a great way to use up veggies that are starting to get old in the fridge!
My favorite quick and easy meal are tostadas. Tostada shells, refried beans, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, salsa! Easy Peasy!
My favorite recipe is the Chicken Pot pie freezer pleaser from Taste of home. Make one and freeze one for later. Your home looks wonderful.
My favorite go to meal is ravioli bake...its really easy and really yummy
One of my favorite meals to make is pizza! Another easy meal is tortillas, with taco meat, or with refried beans & scrambled eggs, or fajita chicken.... and all the fixings like lettuce, tomatoes, olives, cheese, sour cream, onions, salsa....
Your house looks phenomenal! You've actually given me the inspiration to paint and change my own house.
My favorite fast recipe is tikka masala with basmati rice and naan. And the best part is my kids eat it and I can make it in under half hour.
My favorite Fall meal is a good beef stew. Fall is the best time of the year!!!!
Your home always looks wonderful. I have never gotten any form of meal box so I would like to see how it would work.
My kids have been loving oven tacos (Pinterest), cheeseburgers sliders, Philly cheesesteak bread and hamburger gravy with mashed potatoes :)
With the temps dropping a go to is beef stew and soups.
I can't wait to see how new home shopping goes when you move! I love looking at houses! So excited for your family!
Tatortot casserole with corn on the cob is a go to for me that everybody likes!
Thanks for the idea!!
I love making crock pot chicken & gravy with mash potatoes & green beans! The house looks great! Good luck ☺
My favorite fall meal idea is always a bean soup along with crusty bread.
My go to meal is tacos but I also make a Mexican skillet meal that has ground beef, Rotel tomatoes, uncooked macaroni, sour cream, and cheese. Yummy!
We love chicken tikka masala an Indian dish! Aldi has the chicken tikka sauce... just mix with cooked chicken serve it with rice! I even saw Aldi has the wonderful Naan bread to eat with it!
Leanna Lambright
Oh my goodness I love Tikka Masala almost as much as my favorite dish, Butter Chicken and of course a pile of Naan 💜💜
I'd love to try it, so please enter me in your drawing! Meal idea? A yummy veggie baked ziti with Italian bread to dip in olive oil, basil, oregano, and pepper. Yum!
My favorite go to meal is homemade bread and some sort of soup - usually homemade tomato soup.
I like to grill chicken or beef it’s easy cleanup (no pots and pans to wash) throw some asparagus in the grill and a potato of some sort, there’s dinner..I love your videos , your home is beautiful. thank you Lynette
It’s staged beautifully!!!! Congrats on getting on offer!
Something taco/mexican is definitely one of my favorites and go to for dinners!😋
