I bought this frame earlier this year. I built it up myself and have now completed 2000 miles on it with no problems. The BB was accurate and square, same with caliper mounts which were faced direct from the factory. Headset bearings lands were also Bob on, so whole thing built without drama. Only one component needed a little work. The headset wedge has a gap for the cables, but no tightening gap, so I had to cut one. All good after that.
I have it fitted with 32s for road use. Set up with these the handling is quick, a bit like a TCR, and tracking is wonderfully stable. Can't recommend this frame highly enough, but bear in mind they size up a little, so if you normally ride a medium, you will probably need a size small here. BTW, paint finish is second to none. I bought a white one.

Val, that is good news and what a relieve as I thought i would just give it a bash. Then again i heard good stories about these frames. I am also done with the build, had help with the hydraulic brakes ect. I will make a video of it soon. I have 44mm tyres on for gravel, just rode it on the road so all seems well. This might be the future I guess. Also love the paint job and attention to detail if you look at the frame design. Great message. Thank you.
PS: I bought a 52 and usually ride a 54. I actually measured my old bike frame and compared it to the measurements they gave. So happy about that. Will mention it in my video. Thank you.

@@thecyclingchiropractordoes it seem like the 47mm max tyre size is accurate?

@@andrew9579 That is correct Andrew. 47mm max.

@@thecyclingchiropractor the website states 47 but watching your video I was concerned that the frame would actually fit that size. You are running 44’s? Plenty of space left with those on? Thanks.

@@thecyclingchiropractor Great video, Barry!! I'm still confused a little by the measurements: you said you usually ride a 54cm (which makes sense given your height), but the measurements of your other 54cm bikes matched the 52cm dimensions of the BXT?? I also ride a 54, and my measurements match what BXT is claiming for their 54cm, not the 52cm (reach around 387, stack 560). I'm hesitant to order a 52cm as you suggest, as the reach would only be 378 and stack of 544. Of course, I guess I could put a longer stem and headset spacers, although raising the stem would also shorten the reach even more. Thanks for any additional advice!
