I would love to take a crack at this again with the new improved Jaguar source code too as well. For now though, i'm not sure what game of kind i want to make.
Would you finish SDoom2? i tried myself but apparently i cant extract it, the extraction finishes very quickly and doesnt say "Extracted succesfully!" instead, it just gives me a blank WAD, also you should at least add Flying Battery with cut places (Or even everything with the same height) and Carnival Night Zone and Toxic caverns, due to its small nature.
I couldn't find my wad for SDoom2, i think it might be better to start from scratch. Also, you must be doing it wrong, it's wad32x -export sonic.32x doompc.wad to extract the wad.
Also, i must mention this but you can actually add new wall textures with new ids. I wish i knew that earlier. Also, transparent textures are not supported, they won't show up on the 32X.
How do you make custom status bar head because last time (if I remember I'm not sure) the status bar face was not there it would be nice to see (or know) how you done it.
joe daylight The status bar are Genesis/Megadrive tiles so they can be easily modified with any tile editor. Just scroll down until you see the DoomGuy's face. Also , make sure to change the palette match the one in shown in-game.
Ghahha, still up to modding Doom 32x into Sonic-style mods, I see? Well.... Putting character in weapon sprite, how bloody original XD ...Though, works amusingly.
this is weird to see just now, especially after a way better 32X port of SRB2 under the exact same name was revealed just a few days ago, and officially on SSNTails's channel
I was wondering why people were suddenly interested in this video... It's interesting but he didn't show off much footage from it, just seems to be music tracks. Oh well, maybe a proper port someday
@@edogganimations9633 Well someone said SSNTails was working on a 32X branch and i do see commits from him related to Doom ressurection 32X but nothing too special so far, at least publicly. mb.srb2.org/threads/sonic-robo-blast-2-recreation-on-the-sega-32x.44033/page-2
UA-cam doing some shenanigans on me i see... Here it is : gameblabla.nl/files/srb2_32x.zip. Obviously i've stopped working on it but it's 4 levels long
Sonic is doing the "one-legged-skip" as he's shooting monsters.
Well, that's unusual for an attempt at third-person.
Image this now with the Doom Resurrection enhancement.

@@gameblabla take a look at what ssntails is doing, you might be surprised.
Yes but the music would probably be great !

Yeah, you might not be able to extract it that way, you may have to use a HEX editor to extract. I don't think i have it anymore but i'll look.
By the way, i cant find where the IWAD starts, where is it located? (I think you already know but i mean hex.)

I did exactly that, but yeah i may try from scratch.
