Pulled my rig into the truck stop at Fancy Gap one fall afternoon and walked down to the farmers market to get some supplies. These boys were down there playin' for the locals. Man, it made my day listening to that good ol' bluegrass and watchin' some country folk waltz the evening away. Good times like that are few and far between over the road; a special time. You betcha!
I swear bluegrass and blues artists are the greatest story tellers in all genres of music-!!! As well as the greatest musicians period they dont get enough respect or credit but its okay i love routing for the underdog always have.. its like there reading a book and i can visualize what there saying so poetically and realistically its genius-!!!!!!!!!!
By the Grace of God i got off the mainstream fm stations. Im loving these men making me love live again. I got the step in my walk again. Dang it!!!!!!!!
"aint but two ways around here to get your hands on a dollar bill, you can sell dry corn and starve to death or you can cook it in a liquor still". This is the hardest lyric I have ever heard.
Absolutely LOVE this! Really great playing and fantastic singing.. not to mention really clever lyrics.. can't get enough of it. By the way the singer on this one is Jesse Smathers.
Thanks for posting your opinion.. obviously a rocket scientist. I'll give you a tip.. help you out.. you don't have to listen to it, just go listen to something you like.
The poor fool who made that previous comment obviously doesn;'t like true Bluegrass, which this is. It was one of the 5 finalists on the IBMA "Song of The Year" ballot and it got MY vote!
Sagi H You've posted on a couple of comments I guess you must be seeking attention. Did momma and daddy beat you when you young or something? Get your stupid self off of this video and quit trolling because this IS real music, not that hip hop black music crap you probably listen to.
Sounds great, but a musician really needed to edit the video... The shots of the intruments being played don't come close to matching the music, especially the bass being plucked on the upbeats in the video 😅 I had to close my eyes to enjoy it
