'Song of Women' is the next step up from 'I am Woman'... but it has been only 50years.
The song is primal, tribal and very powerful.
thank you.
The perfect global anthem for women. Nothing more to add here.
Every woman in the world needs to hear this song. She tells what it means to be a real woman.
I’m so glad United States people are fall in love with this band
I've listened to the Song of Women several times and just realized the drum beat mimics a beating heart. What a stroke of genius for the HU band to incorporate into this song.
This song is perfect for Mother's Day. 🤱
It is said that the only person Genghgis Khan feared was his mother!
Lzzy Hale wrote the new English lyrics. Heard her Mom did cry when she listened to them. This is one of the redone versions of The Hu songs with guest singers, the original versions are sung in Mongolian. Baby pictures of Lzzy and the band with their Mother's are a nice touch.
Unfortunately , they didn't play this when I saw The Hu open for Halestorm a couple years ago, was one of the first shows back after lockdown, bands were still maintaining distancing.
Just one of those Songs that Drags you into Thought and rips at your conception of Life.
Absolutely awesome!!!
The way you convey your feelings is brilliant. Love it
I knew it....your reaction had me in tears. THANK YOU.
Thank you for my playing my suggestion sir 🫡
Amazing!❤❤❤
One of my favorite songs from one of my favorite bands. And the freight train of pillows - absolutely accurate! ❤
💓💓💓💓
It's interesting how you describe colors of the music. To me, those combined voices of The HU rising from below is like being borne on a river of chocolate gravy.
Been a while since I heard this, love the throat singing of THE HU
Lzzy wrote the lyrics she sang. The HU recorded this previously
What a great reaction and description ❤
IDK what youre going to say...I saw you reacted to this and jumped in immediately .. and...I want to hear what you have to say. I KNOW you wont disappoint.
Yeah...I see you all choked up. 🥰 Makes me tear up every time I hear it.
Smashed that like button before I even listen - just cuz it's THE HU!!! hahahah just so much love this band! So thank you for the reaction
What an impressive song...
One of my favorite bands with one of my favorite rock stars--perfection. Thanks for checking this out. I've seen the Hu live, and Lzzy is on my bucket list. the song still gets me emotional. Oh, small correction--she spells it Lzzy. No "i".
I was curious about how you react to this. You reacted just as I suspected! Great job, loved it!🎸🤘
Calling my momma in a while. Do so every sunday night. Tomorrow is her birthday.
Take a listen to the original version of the song. Lyrically different as it’s a lament of a warrior missing his woman, and there’s a part of the music that didn’t make it into Lzzy’s version. Both versions are superb.
I have listened to this many times. I love it. This was the first time I caught the overtone singing just after the 2be third part of the song. And of course at the end. Loved this. Thanks Eric. 😊😊
The Hu band& Lizzy Hale collab amazing
What a beautiful, thoughtful reaction. I really enjoyed that.
"A Freight Train of Pillows" - hahaha I LOVE IT!! Yeah, I get it, haha, that's great!
A freight train of pillows.. 😂😂 nailed it!❤
Known as savage warriors but also mommas boys 😊
New to your channel but I will definitely be sticking around. I've only seen two reactions, but your love of music shines and your unique ability to tie sounds from disparate groups is amazing. I can't wait to jump into the next one. Thank you for sharing, not just your expertise but how music reflects the soul.
Epic!!! 🔥🔥🔥
I _love_ the "freight train of pillows". You have _such_ a way with words!
But I... gotta ask...
wtf is with the nut butter, bro?
Your description of how Lzzy affects you is reminiscent of how many describe the effect of Floor Jansen. She is the Valkyrie, coming to take your soul to heaven, yet she also conveys something deeply maternal and comforting.
The Hu ft. LP, please
React on “ the legend of mother swan” by the The Hu, please.
