good starting point for our company that is currently looking into new ways of organizing our ancient way of storing/sharing documents! thanks for that!
I am going through this very issue right now. But the trouble we have is that there are people who need to interact with our group on Sharepoint. Getting them the credentials is a nightmare because their email addresses don't comply with our domain structure. Do you have any advice on how to invite "strangers" into our organization who weren't pre-authorized to be there? After all, SharePoint is more like a private network by design!
You can invite people into your organisation as guests. They don't need a license, but can get access to your SharePoint sites. You invite them to the Office 365 Group the the SharePoint site is connected to. I described it here: ua-cam.com/video/LCpRD5Eehic/v-deo.html
I have a question! Will the SharePoint Team Site I created be deleted once my Office 365 Account has been removed in the scenario that I left the company? Note that there are other Owners in the SharePoint Team Site that I have created. My purpose is to know weather The SharePoint Team Site I created will still be available even if I i am no longer with the Company. Thank you for you answer!
If I create multiple document libraries in a sharepoint site, will I have sync all of them to my desktop? and if so, will they be in all different folders? is it easy to edit files (Like InDesign files) cross-document libraries?
