Excellent video Brian on grip pressure and wearing spots on golf gloves. Many years ago, I was always wearing out gloves toward the lower heal pad of my left hand. This of course was caused by griping and regripping as you so eloquently pointed out. Since then I have gone to an equal grip pressure in both hands with emphasis of my trigger finger on my right hand. It certainly has saved me money for gloves over the years. Well Done Brian! Always informative and instructive!
Another original video Brian, well illustrated and explained. In the summer, like you I don't wear a glove, only using one in winter or damp conditions. Must be doing something right as I don't seem to suffer with wear problems. Just hate a dirty glove! Hoping for a dry day tomorrow after the heavy rain and thunderstorms that we've had. Thankfully this is not one of my golfing issues, but when I worked in a pro shop many (many many) moons ago, I did see a lot of times when gloves were getting replaced for this type of wear. (PS: Awesome story about Seve! I got to meet the Golden Bear at that very same course 10 years after you met Seve! Still have the autograph, photo and great memories 36 years later...).
Weren't we lucky to have access to so many good players visiting our country all those years ago. Unlike today (but LIV Golf is helping bring them out again). What a great memory for you. Thanks for sharing. Brian.

I used to love heading off to Melbourne's sand belt and hang around -- especially on the practice days -- met and chatted to some really awesome players -- from the likes of Nicklaus, Norman, Vijay, Nick Faldo, Mike Reid and Bernhard Langer to a whole bunch more, many of the Aussies too (quite a few larrikins in that group!!), some great memories. Yes, good that LIV gives those memories to newer generations.
Although totally by accident, I have found something is up when my gloves wear out quickly. As we both know my issues can be vast at times. But this confirms my thoughts. Thanks for a great video. Down at inverloch today for a par 3 session
Great video, Brian! It likely answers a question I was planning to ask during our upcoming lesson. After practicing on Saturday, my right hand feels stiff and sore, especially my fingers. I think I was trying too hard to let my right hand control the club. I may have been gripping the club too tightly with my right thumb and index finger, which caused strain when I mishit the ball. I'll try loosening my grip to see if that helps. Thanks and see you soon!

@@fitzygolfpro Mizuno Elite is my choice. Cheaper than FJ and lasts for ages. Very robust glove, even for my sloppy grip. I'm that guy who regrips. I have a finger thumb right hand pinch at the top of my backswing. Nasty.

It's probably because you have had a bit of a break. You have come back and just been a little tight.

My FJ gloves always wear our on the thumb. I will have to look at this. It sounded like Seve had an Indian accent back in 1978.
I should just stick to coaching. It certainly didn't sound much like Spanish....
