I'm not sure why she's telling you to do it differently than she's showing you to do it, but watch carefully and you'll see... You twist both sections the SAME way, and then twist them together the OPPOSITE way. That's how it works. She did it right. She just tells it wrong.

thanks. I´m a father of two girls and I really like to get them ready in the morning. Simple things like this braid, that are still different from the common braid and ponytail make me look like a super dad in the kindergarten. :)

I have long and short hair so many times but because long hair you can do so much with it like rope braid flat (fish braid up down whatever I vote for long hair! You are so right rope braid is so simple and you make it that way in your video the best one I've seen!

always wanted to do this but didnt know how!! THANKS!
Your extensions are amazing I wear them all the time,
the brasilian blowout helped so much, just have to extra moisturize my hair
(to prevent split ends), i tried some of your tutorials, the extensions make all the difference in the world, my husband cant stop touching my hair, going through them, without taking off any clips coz they are super secure and go undetected!!!!!
I love my luxy hair extensions! Thanks again, love from Greece!

@Unicornprinsess I think the problem is the twisting the hair in the opposite directions. I do this to my straw wrappers in restaurants, and my friends always ask me how I do it. Whenever I teach them, they twist the wrong and they undo themselves. I think it's all about just getting used to twisting the hair, while twisting the twists. It's complicated, but with practice, I think it'll look great! Keep working at it!

LOL Great! When you 'wrap' them, that is when you go the opposite way that you twisted them! If you did them opposite, they would just unwind once you put in the elastic!

yep people get amazed when I style my hair using one of your tutorials. Best part is that most of your tutorials just really require bobby pins, rubberbands and thats it. Some require heat or hairspray but i would kind of skip those lol. I dont like treating my hair with chemicals or heat lol..

she says to twist the two strands in opposite directions, but you actually twist them the same way. just because when you use both your hands they rotate differently! so just focus on making sure the strands go both clockwise, and then when you make the braid, you wrap them around counter clockwise!:)
