@@itsadyerthing Same to you. Some Y pipes are crazy overpriced. I bought an ENTIRE cat back SS custom made by DirtyDeeds for 800$ with 2 custom made muffers. Lol some of the Y pipe Del cats were almost that for my M
Hi mate UA-cam - The Prodigy firestarter ,and show Sage this is the hair cut he want's!!! What muffler are you going to run? I cant wait to watch you cut up the stock mt10 pipes LOL great to see you back at it
I was getting worried and thought you left me hanging... you have always been one of my most favorite followers along with you feedback, nice to have you back... little does Sage know, his hair style will come naturally eventually lol.cutting pipes ! what you talking about,, oh no this would not be and that is one super perk about the MT10 / R1 exhaust setup, its all in segments so that BlackWidow simply replaces the Cat box from its clamped on locations both front and back. doing this we also then eliminate the Exup valve to, just waiting on the module to swap out with the servo so we don't get any engine codes or error codes, all this will be joined up with the stock muffler, not that it makes any different as its still a straight through pipe ! Loud,,, I'm not sure yet, I don't mind it being vocal but I don't want it to be annoying ! I'm actually going around to see if I can find a Catalytic insert of 51mm to place inside the mid-pipe, this may help burn up the bad fuels and lower the DB a tad! If seen stock muffler with Blackwidow even pop flames, not what I want, I simply want to hear the singing of the cross plane engine but not wanting it to scream !Lets see what happens and its a easy swap back and forward so no biggy here.Again thank you so much for chiming back in ! missed yah buddy !CheersRob
@@itsadyerthing Did Yamaha do that to all the MT10 exhaust's? Wish they did that to the MT09, it would make life so much easier. Sorry Ive been in hospital getting my nose fixed from my crash almost 2 years ago, got to love the public health system in AUS
The Revenant of Your EX wow I hope things are going a little better for you mate, any fixing of ones body still goes through enough pain and stress ! On exhaust side... silly sometimes on how things are engineered by OEM, some brands really sit down and get done right for everything whereas others certain things seem to be simply an afterthought! Then nothing worse than duplication of your creation year after year with no slight change or even worse colour! As for MT07 & MT09, it’s is a bummer that it’s all one full system but I’m guessing it’s a manufacture costs savings in the end.. yet funny enough, it’s not a cross platform product where one thought it would be the same for XSR and or FJ, Tracer etc..... where as you said, if they made it in segments then that in the end would be wiser... 🤔 Cheers Rob
Hi. Don't forget to rub it with a degreaser ( after installation and before turning the motorcycle on ) if it is titanium or you will see all the fingerprints permanently when it changes colors. Also if you can make a before and after sound clips including cold starts ;)
Keith Rice yes keeping the sensors.. just removing the servo and that butterfly valve, that will be replaced with the heal-tech ES power eliminator.just a long time wait for it to come !!!
