That's the point, there will be no emotion, all having similar spec, touch screens all over, no sound, no soul. Yes, you got all the torque from stand still, but you can't really use it, because of the range. Heavy, boring, lame. I'm glad my generation (born 1988) should still be able to enjoy the ICE till the late days.
Hey Larry, I’ve really enjoyed these Daikoku vids! If you do more, I for one would love to hear from the drivers - I’m curious about their stories too!
Daikoku videos will never get old if you're only there for a month. Japan car culture is so good. We need a Daikoku in the US. It would likely be a hotspot for people hooning around though.
I absolutely love the Diakoku PA hangout videos!!! I love hearing the vehicles on the highway buzzing by in the background and love the quick driving videos on the highway.
Renault Clio (Lutecia) 3RS at 16:43. Very popular cars in the UK and Europe, I know best motoring had one around Tsukuba as well. Really fun little cars.
Beautiful example! I love all the NSX versions honestly (of NA1/NA2) Those Lotuses in the background are rad too lol. Also i found the window regulators for like under $1k... The parts thing confuses me, gotta imagine theres alternatives and aftermarket solutions in the worst case, but I also see a lot of conflicting info.
NSX-R is incredible. I have a one of the few imported from Japan in the US and it’s an incredible car. Having owned previous NSXs, I’d say it’s noticeable the difference. 200lbs less, better noise, great engine. It’s the best car I’ve ever owned.
This is legit unicorn and a dream car of mine. I know parts scarcity is huge with nsx’s, but who cares lol. But daily driving an NSX-R is a baller move.
Yeah man, way too many Karen's on their cell phones relying on their SUV's auto safety systems around here for me to be that brave! Definitely would be a weekend morning cruiser for me.
Hi Larry, you said you read all the comments. Wanted to tell you how much I appreciate these videos you've been doing at car meets, explaining GTR tuners and shops and the journey with your own R34, that incredible video series trip to Singapore. This is the kind of content Stradman used to do (except not JDM) and he lost his way doing endless videos on his house build. I'm not into drift stuff, but keep up the great work on this content and your trips to Japan. Your videos made a huge impact on my lust to get an R33 GTR.
So good to live vicariously through your travels and dream drives! What a privilege to experience the NSX-R! Just love your Daikoku content and the sound effects you make when you see a car are exactly the same sounds my mouth makes 😂
I love these Daikoku videos. More videos from Daikoku and other meet up spots around Tokyo would be much appreciated. They are my favorite videos on this channel right now.
Thanks for sharing everything with us Larry, NSX R is my ultimate dream car, and seeing you reviewing it, driving it with passion, showing how amazing this masterpiece is, it’s the best thing ever. Make sure to do more POV drives! they really make us feel how the car interact and communicate with the driver :)
I live 30 minutes away from Daikoku Futo. Going there is a blast! No visits are alike. There are some cars that I see every weekend. Different cars from exotics, classics and super cars. All in one place.
Really loving these type of videos Larry. And I just have to say, how sound was that owner of the NSX-R. Most owners would be a lot more precious about minding them I would imagine. That shot @10.30 as you were driving on the highway/bridge with the setting sun in the background and with the pop up lights....that is what dreams are made of. I would love to get a picture like that to hang on my wall 😎 The NSX-R is just something else, unreal car.
Larry your work is incredible! I love these videos featuring all the JDM legends! I would love to see a video on the old Honda Type R cars.. especially those not available here in the states like all JDM Type R B series cars.
Lack of parts is one reason why I sold my NSX. We had people from the boards spending months searching for a drivers window, more than a year for electronic modules, rear hatch glass is only from crashed cars, etc. I loved the car so much, but the risk of ownership is high. Unlike Nissan which has new parts runs and rebuild services Honda just let this car die. :(
Partially true for high demand parts but I don’t think I had much of a problem. You must’ve bought a car that needed a lot of refreshing. And Nissan doesn’t carry anything I need for my 93 300zx. You might be thinking about their support for select enthusiasts models in Japan market only.
@@Cernunn0s90 This a misleading comments. Most of the parts are available and the NSX is one of the easiest car to get parts of my collection... try to get anything for an Audi or a Mitsubishi and you will cry ten times more. All the mechanicals are available to keep it on the road, rear glass lol... you are pushing. Honda is making everything for cars to keep rolling.
I’m here in the states I just jumped on eBay to search window regulators for the NSX, came up with 70 listings, prices around $250 and I found a few listings coming from Japan for $340.
The window regulator still available. I replaced mine more than 10 years and still rolling up and down good albeit slow due to the heavy thick glass. Price about usd 400 each.
One day i will go here and just drool over all the cool cars. So cool, japan has such a unique culture and within that a very unique car culture as well. I doubt i’ll ever have the money to ship my own car there but that would be amazing too.
I love the fact that my man drives this car every day. You can’t beat Hondas ✖️✖️✖️. Also would like to point out your reaction Larry after you found the Countach, hilarious 🤣 🤙
I saw a none R NSX the other day here in the UK, and had not seen one on the roads for a few years. I forgot just how small they are, it looked tiny compared to the usual sized large coupes on sale now.
Hey Larry ! , I am a importer of Japanese cars to New Zealand , from auction in Japan , and the sad thing was with the "Honda NSX" , If it was the NA1 OR / AND THE NA2 for that MATTER , And both had "preformed" , "Handled" , And where As much fun to drive as a "NSX-R" ...........Honda would of sold A "Million" of them , ... AND THATS the sad thing about the rest of the line up of the "NSX"
Its kinda wild the new Z is still a Z34, well ZR34 now but I guess the jump from the 350Z (Z33) to the 370Z (Z34) was bigger than the 370Z(Z34) to the Z (ZR34)?
Cars of the 90's and early 2000s are so unique and beautiful. I can't imagine a car meet with all electric cars that all look alike.
And the sounds, actual ICE mechanical sounds not coming from a speaker!
*_I would never go to an EV Car meet 😔_*

unfortunately, egoism is why these will never be possible

I love these Daikoku videos. More videos from Daikoku and other meet up spots around Tokyo would be much appreciated. They are my favorite videos on this channel right now.

7:23 _that_ colour GTR is _GORGEOUS!_
Awesome coverage, tone and antics remind me of the JDM DVDs we used to buy a few decades ago! Man time flies!
