I found you channel a couple days ago. After watching a few videos I subscribed for two reasons: 1. I love to see new, good channels with the outdoor lifestyle I love and help them grow. The second reason is your content. Presenting the ups and downs of living on a boat while living your dream. When I was younger, a long time ago, my wife of 34 years offered to live on a boat with me. Unfortunately, it was never the right time and not conducive to family or pets. Not sure I could get a boat large enough for her horses. Oh well, I live vicariously through couples like you.
We've been following you two for a while now - really enjoying your adventures! So fun to think our paths almost touched so many times! But it is really nice to know your history! My beautiful wife and I have been watching your channel for a few months now I just want to say thank you for giving us the extra kick to pursue our dreams. I’m a Savannah firefighter and she’s a fashion model And in two days we head down to Fort Pierce to pick up our 1979 Marine Trader 38’ double Cabin and bring it back up to Savannah and start our adventure keep the videos coming we love them hope to make a few ourselves one day

We just bought a 34 Mainship because we were inspired by you to jump in and try to live aboard lifestyle. Currently we live in an Avion trailer (like an airstream) and in the summers we are going to cruise our native coast of Maine. Aaron is a boat captain and commercial diver and I am an art teacher. Thanks so much for sharing your ideas and lifestyle and we always look forward to your next video.

Okay, you answered my question I posed several episodes ago: how did y'all meet. I've been trying for decades to talk my wife into selling our house and living on a boat fulltime, so good on you for getting that out of the way right off the bat. Even after Hurricane Irma destroyed our house, I couldn't convince her the benefit of spending hurricane season ANYWHERE but on Saint Simons Island. Sigh. So, I'll live vicariously through channels like yours until i can wear the English Rose down.

You guys are living the dream! I think you did a good job with everything including the Marine Trader I feel they are a very underrated boat in the boat community and usually a great value of course they all have their fixable issues like the wood decks and leaky windows but if you spend the time and effort resolving them the proper repairs can be a permanent fix for many years of enjoyment for the most part it’s a solid hull and a good setup for a trawler plus I personally like the interior finishes that give it the classic feel , I enjoy your videos a lot and am a subscriber , retired woodworker , grew up in south Florida , has owned many boats (mostly power) have sailed to and from the Bahamas, learned to scuba in my teens , and been just a overall water enthusiast most of my life ! Btw my great grandparents retired out in Mastic Beach Long Island and my family has been camping for 3 generations on the same beach for many years now I still go one time a year for a family thing When we can sometimes have close to a couple of hundred of us all related hanging out and partying together it’s kind of cool because my Mom can share stories of her childhood memories to my children making new ones for themselves on the same sand of fireisland !

You guys are living the dream! I think you did a good job with everything including the Marine Trader I feel they are a very underrated boat in the boat community and usually a great value of course they all have their fixable issues like the wood decks and leaky windows but if you spend the time and effort resolving them the proper repairs can be a permanent fix for many years of enjoyment for the most part it’s a solid hull and a good setup for a trawler plus I personally like the interior finishes that give it the classic feel , I enjoy your videos a lot and am a subscriber , retired woodworker , grew up in south Florida , has owned many boats (mostly power) have sailed to and from the Bahamas, learned to scuba in my teens , and been just a overall water enthusiast most of my life ! Btw my great grandparents retired out in Mastic Beach Long Island and my family has been camping for 3 generations on the same beach for many years now I still go one time a year for a family thing When we can sometimes have close to a couple of hundred of us all related hanging out and partying together it’s kind of cool because my Mom can share stories of her childhood memories to my children making new ones for themselves on the same sand of fireisland !
