I can tell you really love deep blues and deep reds and they look so lovely on you. Your Ardent Autumn shawls are some of my favourite pieces in your handknit wardrobe because the deep green and burnt orange are just perfect colours for an Autumn-themed shawl 🍃🍂 Also, my husband and I have the same alarm clock! 😂

I really enjoyed this episode. It encouraged me as I feel all of my knit garments could use a little modification here or there. While I try hard to get gauge, I feel lucky to get close to stitch gauge and I’m usually off in row gauge. I recently started knitting continental but my purling is still English.
Nobody knits only perfect sweaters, dear Ruth, and that's totally okay. If you are happy with the results you get with English style knitting then there is absolutely no reason to learn continental. Both work equally fine. ❤️
Yes we do get sentimental about things we knit. Time and planning investments make them so. ❤ thank you for an interesting episode.
