So could u make that sweater with a single strand of the Holst with out the mohair?-- or did u need the mohair to gauge.. I think holst is sport right ? I like sport weight sweaters and soooooo many designers jumped on the mohair train and design sweaters at DK …😢 This is a rather heavy sweater if like me u like rustic yarns without the mohair or alpaca 😢😢😢..

Hello Hanna! I have finished my Feth shawl and I really love it. I think this stitch design would look wonderful on a cardigan too…what do you think? It is actually amazing to me that anyone can make a living designing knitwear given how long it takes to knit a garment and how many beautiful ones are published every day. I think you are taking the right approach…do it as a fun sideline, not a main career. Best wishes for 2025!

I made the Féth shawl last November , loved to make it and to wear it. Several years ago I went to a color institute , this was an eye opener for me. Since then I've never made or bought things that didn't suit me. I wear a lot of cardigans and would love to make one from you, maybe some time.... Very well to take a bit of pressure from yourself , knit what you like and brings you joy . Wishing you a creative 2025!

Dear Hanna! I too do not understand at all why your designs do not have the same success as those of other designers. I am happy to see that you made your inner Peace with this fact although this Must have been a tough décision and process to go through. I am curious to see which « foreign » designs you will décide on in the future and as always I am also looking forward to new Herbgarden Knitwear designs. You should not feel pressured at all, but if I had wish granted I would like to see the Rêveries Sweater come to life next. I might have yarn in the depths of my stash waiting …. 😂😂

I have just purchased the pattern and am planning on making the Tallulah Tee as my first non-wool garment, ready for spring/summer. I would really like a cardigan version of your Veilchen jumper. I, too, tend to gravitate towards cardigans and would like to knit more. Have a great 2025 ❤

Hi. It was quite entertaining to hear you talking about your knitting sweaters and wearing cardigans bias. I have realised the same thing about my knitting and decided that from now on, it is going to be mostly cardigans. As for colours, I somehow gravitate towards blue yarns even though I don't like to wear blue 😅 I love your sock designs, especially the red and green one. Hope that you keep on designing. Dear Hana, thank you for this new episode, it took some time until I "saw" you last time 😉. I'm glad that you have found your inner peace with Herbgarden not being your full time job and that you will bring more joy into your life by knitting designs from other designers that you love 🙂. I love the color yellow too, but didn't wear it as long as I didn't feel comfortable in it. Until I found this gorgeous gold-yellow kind of autumn color, but not very warm 😁. I suppose other colors would suit you too, solid, not pastel, but strong, "full", like they wear in India. Deep orange, turquoise, magenta, emerald green. Would love to see you in such a (statement) piece ☺ All the best for the new year!🍀❤ ☺

I too prefer cardigans to jumpers for the same reasons you gave. In the past I have used a favoured jumper pattern and added a steek. Then I like to pick up button band stitches before cutting the steek, I pick up all the stitches and knit them with much smaller needles which produces a sturdy and neat band.

Your beautiful festive socks would also be lovely in pastel colours for Easter!

Hi Hanna, I love both sock patterns and bought them both! Looking forward to knitting them! My plan for 2025 is also to make at least one cardigan for myself. I love to knit in the round, which is why I usually knit sweaters. Maybe I should look into steeking! Best wishes for the new year!

Wow! Your knits, your patterns and your knitting are absolutely amazing! In Canada many of those yarns are quite expensive. 🙁. However I was knitting a colourwork shawl with Holst, super soft and I didn’t finish it. I have a lot of the yarn and now you’ve given me an idea, because I can frog i,t all and I have great ideas for what I can do with it. I can’t wait to make something and see how well it will soften when it’s blocked! Thank you so much for an awesome video.!

It might be helpful if you actually mention what is your size ie height and bust as that helps other knitters gauge the yarn to their body size for value
