He’s the right AD at the right time with transfer portal and NIL fundraising he’s young aggressive a great talker/communicator and that’s what we need! Great hire

@@philstamper4542 maybe. His time at TAMU and Ole Miss has some stains on it from how he handled football coaching decisions. Also, in his first major decision at Ohio State he hired a coach without no head coaching experience while the fan favorite coach went to Michigan. I’m rooting for him. Time will tell.

@@jv1817 nobody really gives a shit about Ohio State basketball at least I don’t so I didn’t care who they hired! Even though he’s the A.D. at Texas A&M the Texas A&M president has final say who gets hired so some of that blame gotta go on the Texas A&M president not just the A.D.! But you’re right time will tell I just think we need a young aggressive, athletic Director in the NIL transfer portal era.

Hope he can grow into the job. Comes in as an outsider with some baggage. Will give him a chance.

Used to be TTUN was the main focus - and it may still well be - but - this new NIL era has a new SPECIAL challenge provided by NIKE @ Oregon ! --- They pose a new unique and formidable challenge unlike anything we've ever seen. --- Best of luck with all these new and difficult issues that must be met head on and overcome going forward. * GO BUCKS *

He's a great hire but replacing Gene Smith shouldn't be difficult since he was absolutely horrible and clearly tried holding back the football team's NIL. It's no coincidence that the NIL department did a 180 in the last few months under Smith. Welcome Ross and prioritize the football team as you should since it makes more money than all of the other programs put together and without that football team there wouldn't be any of the other sports teams.
