I made these from your recipe book using just large salted peanuts late last night. They chilled fast in the fridge and I’ve just eaten 2! So gorgeous! Thank you for all you share with us, Becky. God bless your family richly.
Just wanted to let you know that I watched your Chocolate Nut cluster demonstration last night. Tonight....thanks to you I MADE MY FIRST BATCH !! I am very proud! They are cooling now. Thanks for being there! Alice
Yum, I will be making these this week. I love chocolate covered raisins too, I may just add some in with the nuts. Becky, you are the real treat here, your audience loves you dear one. XO
I made these this morning but they did not harden all day. I placed them in fridge for about 30 minutes and they are perfectly delicious! Thank you again for another wonderful recipe! Blessings to you and family.
@cyndid the same thing happened to me. I left them out for a long time and they never did firm up. If I touch the chocolate it would smear off. I ended up putting him in the fridge also. But I wonder why that happened? I would rather have them firm up of course!
@susanvan1672 The reason is for me is, I didn't "TEMPER" the chocolate. There are many videos on UA-cam on how to temper chocolate, but I haven't been able to get it right. I'll just continue to place candy in fridge for now, still very delicious!
I ordered your cookbook this last May and today I own a new coffee mug with your logo on both sides, I have my morning coffee and pray for your life, life without your dear husband Bret - "Somebody's Praying For You" and old old hymn from when I was a little girl who grew up in Texas
I wish I had seen this before I did all my Christmas treats this year. I am watching your videos before I found your channel Ms Becky. Praying for you and yours. May God keep you in the palm of his hands. God bless you and yours. Merry Christmas.
Uh oh. My waistline is growing with each cluster! I'm so happy you taught me to make chocolate treats. Shucks I forgot the coconut oil and used butter. Still delicious!
I made these and your peppermint patties tonight for Christmas. They are both excellent easy recipes that look impressive! Thank you so much. I love watching your videos. ❤
Love this! Ganna do this tonight with for my boys... It's 109 degrees today in Selma, Ca. Not happy!! Thank you for all your hard work in these videos. I appreciate you!!
I could watch your recipe videos all day. I just ordered your recipe book “Verses and Vittles” from Amazon and it should be arriving today. I'm excited to get it!
Thank you for buying my cookbook! I hope you like it. It means a great deal to me when someone takes their hard earned money and supports my efforts. God Bless You Brenda!
Oh my Goodness!!! I received the package about 10 min ago!! This is the BEST things I have ever tasted in my life!!! You are truly a wonderful cook, baker and candy maker!!! I had to already put the cans in the fridge to stop eating them!! lol Thank you again!! You have a watcher for life!!!!
+Teresa Selph Thanks for letting us know you received the candy and letting everyone know that you enjoyed it!!! I am relieved that you have it and delighted that you are enjoying it:)) Thank you for all the wonderful compliments! Happy Valentine's Day!
+The Hillbilly Kitchen - Down Home Country Cooking .... Use it however you want or need to. I just had another piece and I'm floating in chocolate heaven!!
Thank you for all the great recipes love your channel, making them for Christmas 2020, God Bless you and your family, love in Christ Jesus, the reason for everything ...
Hi Becky. I love how festive your kitchen looks all decorated for Valentine's Day. I made a recipe similar to yours by Trisha Yearwood called crock pot candy. These look so yummy & scrumptious. The only thing is nuts are expensive here in California. I just paid over $7.00 dollars for walnuts. Great video Becky. Thanks for sharing. Wishing you a Happy Valentine's Day! :)
+Lila Arce Nuts are expensive here too. I shop sales. Every time I go in the grocery store I check the produce department and the baking isle. The last really good deal I found was 6 oz. bags of walnuts, pecans and almonds for a dollar each. They were dated about 60 days from when I purchased them. There were two ladies were both in their 70's buying a whole buggy full. I pointed the expiration date out to them and they said' "honey you can freeze the and use them when you bake for a couple of years". They are right nuts freeze great! It doesn't change them at all. I kept enough out for Valentine's Day candy and packed the rest in the freezer. Shop those sales :) Happy Valentine's Day!
YES!! I freeze the walnuts & pecans. I have one of those vacuum sealers and I use that and can keep them fresh in the freezer for over a year and they taste just as fresh as the day I buy them. :)
Lila Arce I vacuum them before I freeze them too. I had frozen them before, but I guess I lost my mind that day in the store. Good thing those ladies were there :)
...I make these every year for Christmas because they are quick and easy and they go fast. But you gave me a really good idea, I don't know if it will quite work or not. What about putting some of that peanut butter cup batter underneath the clusters? or possibly line the bottom of the paper cups thinly with some plain melted chocolate, then peanut butter batter, then chocolate clusters on top...??? I think the nuts might have to be broken in smaller pieces but you get the idea.. just a thought.
I love watching because for a couple of minutes you make me feel like I'm home with family. You also make me miss them so much. I love your recipes and how you present them, I want to know what your secret is for staying so thin. with all that great cooking and baking how do you keep your weight under control? I gain weight just passing by a candy store. 😁 I enjoyed your peanut butter cup recipe too
Game changer~(😳hope it doesn’t lead to elastic waist bands only)...the cost has tripled in our local grocery. Will salted nuts have any effect on chocolate sticking?
I love these and I've added them to my cookie trays for years. Have you tried using nick chocolate chips and butterscotch chips? Delicious. Thank you. Have a Merry Christmas 🙏
My Mom in law make these things called nerds: they have peanut butter, mixed nuts, captain peanut butter cereal mixed them up and dip them in chocolate. She makes big batches at christmas time and I am starting to crave some as I speak about them.
Hi Found your channel yesterday. Love it. Your fixings are exactly what I grew up with. Yours has to be healthier. Do you have an old recipe for spice cake with maybe cream cheese icing? Please share if you have it. Your instructions & tone of voice are excellent. Not hurried. Thanks so much.
Ohhhhhhh....I'm thinking Chocolate covered Pretzel Sticks or Chocolate covered Craisins or Chocolate covered Chocolate. 👍😝👍 Great Video. Going out to buy some items today.
+Tater 357 Thank you! It is good to dip or cover any nuts, fruit, pretzels or anything you want covered in chocolate and to best part is it's so simple it is impossible to mess up
Are they tastier, or not, if the nuts are salted? Guess that's a matter of personal preference but was just kinda wonderin if maybe one tasted some better than the other?
I know this is old but I just found it but I will try this recipe. Can't wait to try it. Not today but I will try it. Love your videos. Your a real hillbilly from Tazewell. Hope you know where Morristown is at.
Hillbilly Kitchen - Verses and Vittles! I really want to try these, but can’t do coconut... can anyone recommend a good substitute for the coconut oil or shortening? Thanks y’all!☺️🙏
+Steve Hughes Thank you! It is good to dip or cover any nuts, fruit, pretzels or anything you want covered in chocolate and to best part is it's so simple it is impossible to mess up.
I made the nut clusters today and every thing went well except after I was done and they were laying on wax paper the chocolate never got hard is this normal that you have to put them in the frig to get hard? Thanks
@@marshafisch refrigerating them will set them quickly. So if you are just putting them individually on waxed paper, and not in a mold or paper forms, they may spread out a bit since the chocolate is hot. You do not have to keep them in the fridge (unless where you would normally keep them is too warm for chocolate and they would naturally get too soft).

For vegan nut clusters, semi sweet vegan chocolate chips or grated vegan chocolate can be used instead of the milk chocolate.
These look delicious 😋 I'm going to try them with sugar free chocolate chips.
I will enjoy making these next week ! thank you
Love this one too. So easy and quick. Thanks for the video and recipe.
My pleasure 😊
I like mini marshmallows added.
I can't wait to make these!

Could you use dark chocolate?
I love these and I've added them to my cookie trays for years. Have you tried using nick chocolate chips and butterscotch chips? Delicious. Thank you. Have a Merry Christmas 🙏
Butterscotch does add a nice flavor!

Hi
Found your channel yesterday. Love it. Your fixings are exactly what I grew up with. Yours has to be healthier.
Do you have an old recipe for spice cake with maybe cream cheese icing? Please share if you have it.
Your instructions & tone of voice are excellent. Not hurried.

mmmm looks good!
+Danielle Thank you!
Ty
I add little marshmallows when I make these.
Yumooo & wow, will definitely make this. We buy these from Bohmns and they are $8.99 for 1/4 lb.
You can add cranberries to make it healthier and they taste good also.
Could you use regular salted peanuts?
Yummy 😋
Ohhhhhhh....I'm thinking Chocolate covered Pretzel Sticks or Chocolate covered Craisins or Chocolate covered Chocolate. 👍😝👍 Great Video. Going out to buy some items today.

I like to put them in the refrigerator so they cool faster
Can you use dry roasted peanuts??
❤️❤️❤️
Are the nuts salted? Roasted? Thank you for a great video!
Mine were roasted and salted, but you can really use any nuts. Thank you 😊 God Bless You & Merry Christmas!
Love all your recipes! What is link to order your cookbook? Thanks!
Do they stay hardened
All day?
Are they tastier, or not, if the nuts are salted? Guess that's a matter of personal preference but was just kinda wonderin if maybe one tasted some better than the other?
Salted definitely adds a lot of flavor! You really want the sweet & salty together, in my opinion. Good luck, whatever you decide to do!
I know this is old but I just found it but I will try this recipe. Can't wait to try it. Not today but I will try it. Love your videos. Your a real hillbilly from Tazewell. Hope you know where Morristown is at.
Getting me some coconut oil!
Thank you for this easy recipe. I made a batch with peanuts and another batch with walnuts and marshmallows. 😊
Christians, yay!!!!
I want to do this so bad.🤗🤗
I miss the quoting of scriptures.

Thanks
Jack Burgeson the chocolate got too hot and is "beyond temper".
Red... thanks for the info!!!! Mine did the same thing I was trying to find a recipe that DOES NOT have to be refrigerated!!!!!!!
@@marshafisch refrigerating them will set them quickly.

Sorry I forgot to ask my question do you toast the nuts? If you mention that I missed it
