Suggestion for future card reviews. Start with the neutral cards instead of reviewing them last. Many cards depend on other cards to be good. By starting with the neutral cards you can reference a neutral card that makes a class card better/worse without worry that your viewer knows what you are talking about.
was gonna leave a whole comment expanding on the corridor sleeper controversy, but i watched five seconds further in the video and you pretty concisely stated everything i was going to say 😅
8:10 There's this assumption of "There must be some sort of grant synergy, combo plan if there's a 0 cost anywhere" and I don't think so, I think this is *just* for a weapon warrior who's *really* aggressive with controlling the board.
I liked to use Colifer the Artist in Priest. I ran a control deck with only amanthul, rags, and an odd mixture of rotating big minions like stoneborns and the like. I liked the combination of using the spells package priest has including the aura which cheapens spells, as well as Swarm of Lightbugs for the board of minions for colifero. finding colifero is easy, there are 2 spells that discover minions from your deck, and with all of the heal it worked well! im sad that the priest location is rotating out, it provided good draw and buffs on the lightbugs.
the bad big tradeable cards also have some subtle synergies: theres a three mana not-totem in the game right now that makes quickdraw, TRADEABLE, excavate, and legendary cards cost less. there are ways of tutoring cards that cost five or more from your deck right now. paladin could build a weird hand buff deck that has the bad big tradeable guys in it, which can be tutored, hand buffed, and traded at will while retaining their buffs.
you could build the excavate package in too in order to be able to make the not-totems mana discount feel better too, and those kobold miners and burrow busters feel alot better hand buffed. the tradeable cards both could have been mechs, handbuff mechscavate paladin could have been real.
Safety goggles is insane with the AoE spell that scales off armor… even not forged it is a 6 damage AoE for 5 mana with this… assuming you have 0 armor
so what happens if you buff nesting doll? say its 8/7 will it become 7/6? since it does say -1/-1.. I dont remember anyone playing it in handbuff deathknight
one more comment to bombard you with: paladin mech aura deck: mechs cost one less-> zilliax DR shuffle into deck BC summon copy of this-> wheeling and draeing a bunch and cycling to dump as many zilliax onto the board as possible meme? yes. Zilliax is a Timmy card and Im the biggest Timmy.
another quick combo to think about: Shudderblock->Cattle Rustler-> Origami package Draw three origami cards, they all get cost reduced. you can also run the 2 mana guy that gives beast rush but it makes rustlers mana discount feel bad if you hit him. origami shaman sounds fun.
Warrior completely failed, literally nothing supporting the excavate/odyn decks that are essentially the only viable standard options for that class in the meta. Zillax sure but it's neutral. Nesting golem is cool, but neutral.

wow great evaluation as always kibler!
Chemical spill also feels like one of those cards that exists so it can get cast or given to you at random

Is Card grader the new neutral 3 drop that slots in a ton of decks where Vizier used to?
Maybe, that one worked better in board centric (undead) decks while this one probably needs a specific number of spells to start working.
No it requieres you to cast a spell which immediately makes it worse

I'm disappointed that none of the Zilliax modules include "Magnetic."

My eyes! The goggles do nothing!

It doesn’t work with buffs. It basically always summons a 3/2
Probably not? It has the same wording as Rattlegore, which ignored any stat changes on the next one.
this set looks fun, but you did point out a PRIME flaw...no plot twist lock 😞

Play house giant seems broken in apm Rouge
KIBLER PLEASE TRY THIS!
Shaman: Shudderblock->Tram Operator-> factory assemblybot for FOUR MANA AND A MINI THE NEXT TURN!!!!!!

Wouldn't this draw 3 mechs and reduce their costs? Not as insane but still cool
Ellie is clearly SUPER excited to play with all these new cards! :)
what happens if the zilliax gets silenced? does it lose it's combined stats?
It loses all keywords and any bonus stats it ,Ishtar have acquired but it will keep its base stats.
🎉
Great review, thank you. Also, train your dogs please. Shiro was old and a little demented but there's no excuse for the new ones barking that much.
Still kinda salty that Dr boom is 8 cost
bork
